二十八日
一 午前十時頃お供を揃えて出馬し、原ノ町の御蔵下で小休憩。案内されて昼食は塩竃入口の赤坂から提灯を持って表坂下の大浦屋宇吉方に宿泊。
二十九日
一 午前八時頃お供を揃えて船で東名浜へ向かい、午前十時頃に上陸。直ちに同地の町の某所で昼食を取り、その後同地の台場に入られた。猪苗代十郎様と打ち合わせなどがあり、組方の稽古が行われた。午後二時過ぎ、若殿様が寒風沢から同地に到着されたので、猪苗代様と同行して出立された。午後二時半過ぎに台場に入り、大砲および筑前様の人数と我が方の組が共に調練を行うのをご覧になった。日暮れに及び、若殿様は同地の町の本陣で旅陣を敷かれた。

28th day
- At about 10 AM, assembled the retinue and departed on horseback. Took a brief rest at the storehouse area in Hara-no-machi. Guided for lunch at Shiogama entrance from Akasaka, carried lanterns to stay at Oura-ya Ukichi's place below the front slope.
29th day
- At about 8 AM, assembled the retinue and departed by ship to Tonabihama, landing at about 10:30 AM. Immediately had lunch at a certain place in the town, then entered the local battery. Had consultations with Lord Inawashiro Juro and military drills were conducted. After 2 PM, the young lord arrived at the same location from Samponzawa, so he departed accompanied by Lord Inawashiro. After 2:30 PM, entered the battery where they observed joint training exercises with cannons by Lord Chikuzen's forces and our own units. As evening approached, the young lord established his travel encampment at the main inn in the town.
