我人死亡の者算へがたし大門外にて
御高札并に同側焼残る向側不残やける
土手下網笠茶屋北の方少し残り
候得共大潰なり田町より出火して一丁目
二丁目夫より馬道通り両側大破損之上
焼るその火猿若町へ焼込同所壱丁目
中村座弐丁目は市村座三丁目は河原
崎座前後役者新道共不残大潰之上
焼る又は藪の内此辺いろは長屋多く
皆々大潰之上やける山の宿九品寺より向側
残り南へ花川戸町戸沢長屋にて焼
止る同馬道西側不残大破之上焼る南馬
道観音裏門角に而焼止る此辺即死の者
八百五十人余怪我人数不知浅草寺境内は
奥山の諸宮等いづれも破損致し観音本
堂山門鐘楼并随身門雷門三社念仏
堂此分不残無事なり五重之塔九輪少し
曲る観音寺中不残大破又寺中に有之候
いろは長家皆々大破損東橋際川付に而
は山谷堀迄焼残るといへども潰家甚多し

浅草並びに
新吉原辺り
新吉原の江戸町一丁目二丁目、京町一丁目二丁目、角町一丁目二丁目、揚屋町、伏見町、すべて残らず揺り潰し、その上揚屋町から出火して角町からも出火、また江戸町二丁目からも出火。遊郭内は残らず焼失、土蔵一ヶ所も残らず。怪我人・死亡者は数え難い。大門外では御高札並びに同じ側は焼け残るが、向かい側は残らず焼ける。土手下の網笠茶屋の北の方は少し残ったけれども大崩壊である。田町から出火して一丁目二丁目、それから馬道通り両側が大破損の上焼失。その火が猿若町へ焼け込み、同所一丁目の中村座、二丁目は市村座、三丁目は河原崎座、前後の役者新道とも残らず大崩壊の上焼失。また藪の内、この辺りのいろは長屋も多く、みな大崩壊の上焼失。山の宿、九品寺より向かい側は残り、南へ花川戸町の戸沢長屋で焼け止まる。同じ馬道西側は残らず大破の上焼失。南馬道の観音裏門角で焼け止まる。この辺りの即死者は八百五十人余り、怪我人の数は分からない。浅草寺境内は奥山の諸宮等いずれも破損したが、観音本堂、山門、鐘楼並びに随身門、雷門、三社、念仏堂、これらはすべて残らず無事である。五重の塔は九輪が少し曲がる。観音寺中は残らず大破。また寺中にあるいろは長屋はみな大破損。東橋際の川付では山谷堀まで焼け残るといえども、潰れ家が甚だ多い。

New Yoshiwara's Edo-cho 1st and 2nd districts, Kyo-cho 1st and 2nd districts, Kaku-cho 1st and 2nd districts, Ageyamachi, Fushimi-cho - all completely shaken and collapsed. Moreover, fires broke out from Ageyamachi, also from Kaku-cho, and again from Edo-cho 2nd district. The entire pleasure quarter burned down completely with not a single storehouse remaining. The injured and dead are beyond counting. Outside Daimon gate, the official notice board and buildings on the same side survived the fire, but everything on the opposite side burned down. North of the Amigasa tea houses below the embankment, a little remained but was severely collapsed. Fire broke out from Ta-machi spreading to the 1st and 2nd districts, then both sides of Umamichi street were severely damaged and burned. The fire spread into Saruwaka-cho, where Nakamura-za theater in the 1st district, Ichimura-za in the 2nd district, and Kawarasaki-za in the 3rd district, along with the front and back actor quarters, all completely collapsed and burned. Also in Yabu-no-uchi, many Iroha tenements in this area all severely collapsed and burned. From Yama-no-yado and Kuhonji temple, the opposite side remained, and to the south the fire was stopped at Tozawa tenements in Hanakawado-cho. The entire west side of the same Umamichi was severely damaged and burned. The fire was stopped at the corner of Kannon's rear gate on Minami-umamichi. Instant deaths in this area exceeded 850 people, with the number of injured unknown. In Sensoji temple grounds, various shrines in Okuyama were all damaged, but the main Kannon hall, mountain gate, bell tower, Zuishin gate, Kaminarimon gate, Sanja shrine, and Nenbutsu hall all remained completely unharmed. The nine-ring finial of the five-story pagoda was slightly bent. All temple sub-temples were severely damaged. The Iroha tenements within the temple grounds were all severely damaged. Along the riverside near Higashi bridge, areas up to Sanya canal survived the fire, though there were very many collapsed houses.
