磨麺唱（こひきうた）て衆生（しゆぜう）を度（ど）し優魁（おやだま）の白猿（はくゑん）は夷曲（たはれうた）にて
世上（せじやう）の見佛聞法（けんぶつもんぼう）を示（しめ）す。其哥（そのうた）に曰（いはく）。三がいを苦（くるし）と
云ふも理（ことはり）や。生死流轉（せうじるてん）の火速扮（はやがはり）して。嗚呼（あゝ）雅（が）
なるかな俳優（はいゆう）の才子（さいし）。風流（ふうりう）勾欄（しばゐ）の在行（みごうしや）に止（とゝま）る。
夫（それ）戯貨（かざりつけ）の花（はな）は盛（さかり）に。銀箔（ぎんばく）の月（つき）は曇（くま）なきを
のみ見る物（もの）かは。音（おと）も香（か）もなき朱雀棚（つんぼうさじき）に。悠然（ゆうぜん）として
三角紙（さんかく）の雪（ゆき）を眺望（ながめ）。あけら觀法（くはんぽう）の床（ゆか）に座（ざ）さば。狂言（きやうげん）綺語（きぎよ）も
譬喩（ひゆ）方便（ほうべん）。賛佛乘（さんぶつじやう）の因縁（いんゑん）と悟（さと）るべし。無慙（むざん）の
綴皮（てんほう）。六塵（ろくぢん）の 方罫塲（どま）に猶豫（まよひ）。放逸（ほういつ）の白看的（のんたらう）。五（ご）
現代語訳
粉挽き歌を歌って衆生を救い、親玉の白猿は戯れ歌にて
世上の見仏聞法を示す。その歌に曰く。三界を苦と
言うのも道理である。生死流転の早変わりをして。ああ雅
やかなるかな俳優の才子よ。風流な芝居小屋の見物衆に留まる。
それ化粧道具の花は盛りに。銀箔の月は曇りなきを
のみ見るものであろうか。音も香もなき聾桟敷に。悠然として
三角紙の雪を眺め。明らかに観法の床に座すれば。狂言綺語も
譬喩方便。讃仏乗の因縁と悟るべし。無慙の
綴方。六塵の土間に迷い。放逸の呑気者。五

the seeing of Buddha and hearing of Dharma in the world through playful songs. That song says: To call the three realms suffering
is indeed reasonable. Performing quick changes of life, death, and transmigration. Ah, how elegant
