磁石は地震を前兆するの一法とする紀元千八百五十三年
の吏々此法を記載せり疾風大雨の事きは晴雨両議ヲ
現代語訳
一、お長屋の御門番人が、右の垣の間に首を挟まれて死亡。首は煎餅のように（潰れていた）。
一、伴 権次 下女たちのうち二人が即死、一人が大怪我。
一、内藤駿河守 主人が外から帰宅し、着替えをしている最中にすぐ庭に出た。その後、類焼により家来五、六人ほどが即死。
一、松平時之助 家中に怪我人・死亡者多数、（屋敷は）焼失。
一、松平肥前守 右に同じ。同じく（焼失）。
一、南部美濃守 右に同じ。同じく（焼失）。
一、松平阿波守 右に同じ。即死者四十人ほど。
一、松平下野守 右に同じ。即死者多数。
一、有馬中務少輔 右に同じ。
一、小川町の雨森塾生三人が即死。本多豊前守殿の藩医・菅野道順の塾生一人が死亡。薩州（薩摩藩）の装束屋敷の邦畑清太夫の弟が焼死。隣家の志水氏の姉が焼死。これはすなわち有馬備後守殿家中の朝川要助の妻である。勢州亀山藩の東順の母と弟の二人が焼死。
以上のほか、諸侯・諸御旗本の怪我人・死亡者は多数いるが、つまびらかに詮索することができず、おおよその諸事のみ（を記録した）。

One, a gatekeeper of the long tenement house had his head caught between the fence posts and died. His head was crushed flat as a senbei (rice cracker).
One, Ban Gonji: Two of the female servants died instantly; one suffered serious injuries.
One, Naitō Suruga-no-kami: The master had just returned home from outside and was changing his clothes when he immediately went out into the garden. After that, five or six of his retainers died instantly in the subsequent fire spreading from neighboring buildings.
One, Matsudaira Toki-no-suke: Many injuries and deaths among his household; (the residence) burned down.
One, Matsudaira Hizen-no-kami: Same as above. Likewise (burned down).
One, Nanbu Mino-no-kami: Same as above. Likewise (burned down).
One, Matsudaira Awa-no-kami: Same as above. Approximately forty people died instantly.
One, Matsudaira Shimotsuke-no-kami: Same as above. Many instant deaths.
One, Arima Nakatsukasa-no-shō: Same as above.
One, Three students of the Amemori Academy in Ogawamachi died instantly. One student of Kanno Dōjun, the domain physician of Lord Honda Buzen-no-kami, also died. The younger brother of Kunihata Seitayū of the Satsuma domain's ceremonial estate burned to death. The elder sister of the neighboring Shimizu family also burned to death — she was the wife of Asakawa Yōsuke, a retainer of Lord Arima Bingo-no-kami. The mother and younger brother of Tōjun of the Kameya Domain in Ise Province — two people — also burned to death.
Beyond the above, there were many injured and deceased among various lords and hatamoto (bannermen), but it was not possible to investigate thoroughly; only a rough overview of various matters (has been recorded here).
