The towns in the area suffered major damage, and fires broke out on top of that, as described below.
**[Goshuin-chi (Shogunate-certified domain) / Zenkoji Temple Estate]**
- The interior framework and construction of the Nyorai-dō (Main Hall) suffered major damage.
- The Sanmon (Main Gate) and Kyōzō (Sutra Repository) suffered minor damage.
- The Nyorai-kyōsho (offering hall for the Nyorai) collapsed.
- One shrine (miya) and one subsidiary shrine (sha) within the temple precincts suffered major damage.
- The Niōmon (Deva Gate) and two shrines within the precincts were destroyed by fire.
- The residence of the Hongan Shōnin (Chief Priest of Daihongan), along with all adjoining structures, was completely destroyed by fire.
- The Daikanjin, Manyakudō, Gomadō, Shōtendō, domestic Buddha hall, palace-style sanctuary, sitting room, living quarters, and adjoining structures all suffered major damage.
- The inner service quarters, seven storehouses (dozō), watchtower, and main gate all collapsed.
- Forty-six sub-temple lodgings (bō) within the temple complex were destroyed by fire.
- One storehouse within the temple complex collapsed.
- Ten residences belonging to the Hongan Shōnin and the servants of the Daikanjin collapsed; eight of these were subsequently destroyed by fire.
- Two temples within the temple estate were destroyed by fire.
- At one location within the temple estate, the sitting room and kitchen quarters collapsed.
- Three hermitages (an) within the temple estate were destroyed by fire.
- Of two shrines within the temple estate, one was destroyed by fire.

- Forty private residences in the same (Iizuna Shrine) domain collapsed.
- Three residences were half-collapsed.
- One storage shed collapsed.
- Mountain and slope collapses occurred at six locations.
- Three peasants were crushed to death (one male, two female).
- Three peasants were injured (two male, one female).
