薬を調進して兼用し、十日より直寝（医師）に診察を相頼み、薬を調合して服薬したところ、速やかに相応の効果があり、十一日より食事も進み追々快方に向かった。ところが又々十五日に食物が少し滞り勝れないので、身（自分）で直寝を相招いて診察・服薬があり、追々快復した。しかしながら老年のことなので、なお又今日より五頭人必顕へ太田社において寿命長久の御祈祷を相頼んだ。○家父の病気により御家門御番宿を御断り申し上げ、下宿した。
十八日丙辰晴れ 家父の疝癪が戌の刻頃よりまた強く差し込んだので、子の刻頃に経威を相招き、更に五頭人必顕へ御祈祷参勤を相頼み、直寝や経董等へも申し遣わし、追々入来して薬用したが、寅の刻に至り逆上が生じて叶わず、大切な状態に及んだ。もっとも熊胆や灸治等も相用いたが応じず、高年ながら残心無限、愁傷言語に絶する者である。この時父県主は年八十二、寛延二年三月十九日誕生である。
十九日丁巳晴れ 鶏鳴の頃、家父が往生した。貴船の田河原畑老者田等の巻物を、規清を以って会所の直古まで、芬経の病気危急により返上する旨申し入れた。次に芬経県主卒去の日并びに経千・経紀・経寛・経董・経威・逞清の仮服届書を写し（例文）、同人が持参して同じく直古まで差し出した（もっとも往来筒返上の節は入魂を願った）。次に芬経・経董・経威・経于・逞清等の御籍を同人を以って知らせた（例の如く料紙等を遣わした）。次に胡保を以って御家門への届（手紙）を差し出した。もっともこの已前に逞清・氏啓・氏総等へ知らせるため遣わした。次に葬送の義について、母・慎子・経董・経威・予等が相談の上、今十九日酉の刻、墓所を中河原の故経岡県主の墓北の所と治定した。次に大津の保歳方へ別の飛脚を仕立て（南無之介）、手紙を持たせて遣わし、山崎のおのふ方へは経威より知らせてくれるよう相頼んだ。次に瀬尾次兵衛・同弥兵衛・施薬院・堀川近江守等へ手紙で知らせ遣わし、石松・但三雲中書・種田信濃守・土山将曹・高橋若狭守・大森三郎右衛門等へは薬院より知らせてくれるよう頼み遣わした。この時、親族中并びに入魂の方々・近隣等が即座に悔やみとして追々入来し、万端世話があった。なお又出入りの者共が追々参り、諸具をそれぞれ相調え、且つ喪中入用の品々（別記）を京都へ買いに遣わし、孫市を使者とした。次に墓所地祭の義について、規清に相頼んで執り行い、入用の祭具は如何に
