本宮八社未社并夷大黒神三寶荒神等如例供初穂御膳拝禮如常也
但参社は今明両日相憚也御家門え出仕常服之侭不及改服事
二日甲乙快晴服解ニ付在所入魂之方々平隣等へ為挨拶参也
三日乙丑晴今朝去服後令参社氏神社勤次第如例大田社迄了而
兒社え参詣之事
五日丁卯晴紀州大隠居太真殿薨去ニ付大政所之御方え為御弔悔具覚
舞参上尤麻上下着用但大政所御方御父也八十五才云々
大御所御艱祖父ニ付無御假服但去ル二日右御違例之趣被聞召不取
殿為御見舞御近習村上矢柄紀州若山表江被差向也○御家門調達

富にかかわる恩西堂・訓西堂・禎西堂等三人は今後御殿へ参上することや御法事への出頭等を差し止められた。
廿九日壬戌 雨 重服（喪服）は今日限りである。
六月
朔日癸亥 晴れ 早朝除服（喪明け）につき、元結を放ち、水を浴び、門に注連縄を張った。例の通り家内清祓を終えた。本宮八社・末社および夷大黒神・三宝荒神等に例の通り初穂・御膳を供え拝礼を行った。ただし参社は今日明日両日とも遠慮する。御家門への出仕は常服のままで改服の必要はない。
二日甲子 快晴 服解（喪明け）につき、在所の懇意の方々・近隣等へ挨拶のため参った。
三日乙丑 晴れ 今朝喪明け後に参社し、氏神社の勤行次第を例の通り行い、大田社まで終えて兒社へ参詣した。
五日丁卯 晴れ 紀州大隠居太真殿薨去につき、大政所の御方へ御弔悔のため具覚舞で参上した。麻の上下を着用。なお大政所御方の御父である。八十五歳とのこと。大御所の御曾祖父につき御仮服はない。ただし去る二日に右御違例の趣を聞し召され、殿の御見舞いのため御近習村上矢柄を紀州若山表へ差し向けられた。御家門調達の御講十会目が例の通り奥田屋であり、巳半刻（午前9時半頃）より行き、酉刻（午後6時頃）に済み、亥刻（午後10時頃）に帰宅した。来る十日の故周子一周忌につき、在所上分の六軒ほどに志の賦物を送った。
七日己巳 晴れ 御家門御講の勧定（準備会議）である。
八日庚午 晴れ 大坂表御講につき、御用人岡本と予等が今日昼船で下坂し、夕刻に着坂した。旅宿は例の通り。なお中野は一両日前より下坂し同所に逗留している。
九日辛未 晴れ 天王寺浮瀬において金三両掛けの御講三会目があり、午前刻（正午前）より行き、戌刻（午後8時頃）に終了した。
十日壬申 曇り 昨日と同所において金壱歩掛けの御講四会目があり、午刻（正午）に行き、戌半刻（午後8時半頃）に済んだ。

The three monks Onsei-dō, Kunsei-dō, and Teisei-dō, who were involved in the wealth matter, were henceforth prohibited from coming to the palace and attending memorial services.

Sixth Month
1st day, Mizunoto-I (Water Boar): Clear. Early morning, for the end of mourning, I untied my topknot, bathed, and hung sacred ropes at the gate. I completed the household purification ritual as usual. I offered first fruits and ceremonial meals to the main shrine's eight shrines, subsidiary shrines, Ebisu-Daikoku deities, and Sanbō-Kōjin as usual, and performed worship. However, I refrained from shrine visits for both today and tomorrow. For court service, I remained in regular clothes without changing attire.
2nd day, Kinoe-Ne (Wood Rat): Clear and pleasant. Due to the end of mourning, I visited intimate acquaintances and neighbors in the local area to offer greetings.
3rd day, Kinoto-Ushi (Wood Ox): Clear. This morning, after the end of mourning, I visited the shrine, performed the ritual sequence at the tutelary deity shrine as usual, completed services up to Ōta Shrine, then visited Chigo Shrine.
5th day, Hinoto-U (Fire Rabbit): Clear. Due to the death of Kii Province's Great Retired Lord Taishin-den, I visited the Great Dowager's quarters for condolences, wearing formal hemp attire. He was the Great Dowager's father, aged eighty-five. As he was the Great Lord's great-grandfather, there is no temporary mourning. However, on the 2nd, upon hearing of this irregular situation, the lord sent his close attendant Murakami Yagara to Kii Wakayama for condolences. The 10th meeting of the family financing association was held at Okudaya as usual, going from half past the Snake hour (9:30 AM), finishing at the Rooster hour (6 PM), and returning home at the Boar hour (10 PM). For the first anniversary of the late Shūko on the coming 10th, I sent memorial gifts to about six households of higher rank in the local area.
7th day, Tsuchinoto-Mi (Earth Snake): Clear. Planning meeting for the family association.
8th day, Kanoe-Uma (Metal Horse): Clear. For the Osaka association meeting, retainer Okamoto and I took the noon boat down to Osaka today, arriving in the evening. Lodging as usual. Nakano had gone down to Osaka one or two days earlier and was staying at the same place.
9th day, Kanoto-Hitsuji (Metal Sheep): Clear. At Tennōji Ukise, there was the third meeting of the association with three ryō gold stakes, going from before noon and finishing at the Dog hour (8 PM).
10th day, Mizunoe-Saru (Water Monkey): Cloudy. At the same place as yesterday, there was the fourth meeting of the association with one bu gold stakes, going at noon and finishing at half past the Dog hour (8:30 PM).
