十一日癸酉 晴れ 昼船で巳刻過ぎ（午前10時過ぎ）より乗船、午後小雨で雷鳴があり、夕刻淀に着いて同所に宿泊した。旬の御祈祷出番で必顕主が代参を勤めた。
十二日甲戌 曇り 巳刻頃（午前10時頃）御殿へ帰着し、御届を申し上げて御機嫌を伺い、帰宅した。
十五日丁丑 晴れ 瀬尾次兵衛の家を訪問。同人の息子源九郎《二十三歳》は従来素行が悪く放蕩につき、度々意見をしたところ、また過日より他出して帰宅せず、家督相続の件も好ましくない状況であったが、この度親父次兵衛へ一札を差し出し、剃髪して家督相続の義は親父・親類等でよろしく相談を頼むとして、寺井定運と改名し号を丸屋別宅とした。これにより年中の生活費は次兵衛から遣わすとの約定であるが、往復通路の件は本家をはじめ親族・手代・下々に至るまで堅く禁止する旨申し渡した段を、今日次兵衛より申し伝えられた。なおこの一件は過日瀬尾弥兵衛・予等が招かれて条々内々に示談があり、先のように落着したものである。
十六日戊寅 晴れ 御殿で嘉祥の御祝いで御盃を賜った。例年通り。紀州太真殿薨去につき、昨十五日から来る二十一日まで七日間、鳴物停止、普請は構わないとの手触れがあった。
十八日庚辰 晴れ 近年中に故求馬の墓所三宝寺へ参詣した。忌中の頃下坂につき延引した。
十九日辛巳 晴れ 亥刻（午後10時頃）土用入りである。
二十二日甲申 晴れ 中飯の後、新宮以下三手の総老若が集まり、経千五番衆の出番につき出席した。職中の季が披露するには、去る冬の清算で祐季の日数が立てにくい旨につき往来を上げた一件について、今後の御議定をどのようになさるべきかの義を、先の会の節に職中へ付け置かれたにつき、今日披露に及んだとのこと。評議によると、今後このような義があった節に、ようやく一両年納めて往来を再び上げる輩があれば、奉公人中で内実を仕替えをすることになるから、その一両年の収納をして着服を上げた分は三ヶ年退充にするくらいのことでも定められるのが良いかと思われるが、今日の評決の義もいかがなものか、なお再度の会の上で粗方決定し、会議で御相談されるのがよいとのこと。これが終わって新宮以下三手の輩は退散し、次に老若中へ職中が披露した。手控えによると御台所の御不如意につき滝ヶ谷山の木を伐採することになった。

15th day, Hinoto-Ushi (Fire Ox): Clear. Visited Seo Jibei's house. His son Genkurō (age 23) has long had bad conduct and dissolute habits. Despite repeated admonishments, he recently left home again without returning, making the matter of family succession problematic. This time he submitted a written pledge to his father Jibei, shaved his head, and requested that his father and relatives handle the succession matter appropriately. He changed his name to Terai Jōun with the designation Maruya Bettaku. While it was agreed that Jibei would provide his annual living expenses, passage to and from the main house was strictly forbidden to everyone from the main family, relatives, clerks, to servants. This was conveyed to me today by Jibei. This matter had been privately discussed when Seo Yahei, myself and others were invited some days ago, and was thus settled as described.
16th day, Tsuchinoe-Tora (Earth Tiger): Clear. At the palace, received ceremonial sake cup for the Kashō celebration as usual each year. Due to the death of Kii Province's Taishin-den, from yesterday the 15th until the coming 21st, for seven days, musical instruments are prohibited, but construction work is permitted according to the official notice.
