二十日乙亥雨。神楽講の勘定である。病気のため不参。
二十二日丁丑晴れ。女御の御入内である。ただし鷹司准后政煕公の御息女で、新皇嘉門院の御妹である。
二十四日己卯晴れ。当番であるが、病気のため逞清方へ代勤の義を相頼んだ。
二十七日壬午曇り。実母の正忌日である。病気のため墓参はせず、家内での祭事を例年のごとく行った。
二十八日癸未。当年の秋日数は今日より立て始めとなる。よって所司大夫賢清許へ例のごとく小折紙を差し出した。もっとも経千は病気のため、家父が持参された。
九月小
三日丁亥晴れ。職中の清祈が入来した。神楽講六会目が相済んだにつき、社中より例のごとく御会釈として白銀一両を下される旨を相渡され、合頂戴した。
○未の半刻ほど、保子が安産で女子が出生した。
五日己丑晴れ。三手講掛かり中へ触れがあった。その趣旨は、講所普請の土蔵が出来上がったにつき、明日書籍以下諸具を納め、ならびに御講相談等があるので、朝飯後に参集すべしとのことである。予は病気中につき不参を断った。
八日壬辰雨。河上正税米六人組で、経千は昨年より向頭人をつとめるところ、昨年分に間違いがあったため、季快の勤めの箱が渡されず、当年の箱が渡された。よって経千は当年より向頭人を相勤め、すなわち今日、納頭人清祈より正税米が例のごとく到来し、仲ヶ間六人へ配分を経千が支配した。○当月三日に誕生した女子は今日六日目につき、幼名を周（シウ）と付けた。
九日癸巳晴れ。重陽の佳節、例のごとし。○産婦は今日七夜である。

18th day, mizunoto-inu, rain. This is the Goryō-e (spirit pacification ceremony).
20th day, kinoto-i, rain. Accounting for the kagura lecture. I did not attend due to illness.
22nd day, hinoto-ushi, clear. The imperial consort's entrance into the palace. She is the daughter of Takatsukasa Quasi-Empress Masahiro and the younger sister of the new Imperial Princess Kamongiin.
24th day, tsuchi-no-to-u, clear. It was my turn for duty, but due to illness, I requested Teikiyo to serve as substitute.
27th day, mizunoe-uma, cloudy. This is my birth mother's death anniversary. Due to illness, I did not visit the grave but conducted memorial services at home as in previous years.
28th day, mizunoto-hitsuji. The autumn day count for this year begins from today. Therefore, I submitted the customary small formal document to Lord Steward Kenkiyo. However, since Tsunachi was ill, my father delivered it.
Ninth Month (small)
3rd day, hinoto-i, clear. Kikiyo from our professional group came to visit. Since the sixth kagura lecture meeting was completed, he conveyed that the shrine community would bestow one ryō of silver as customary appreciation, which I humbly received.
○ Around the sixth half-hour (around 2 PM), Yasuko safely gave birth to a daughter.
5th day, tsuchi-no-to-ushi, clear. There was a notification to the Mite lecture group members. The content was that since the storehouse construction at the lecture hall was completed, books and various implements should be stored tomorrow, and there would be lecture consultations, so members should gather after breakfast. I declined to attend due to illness.
8th day, mizunoe-tatsu, rain. Regarding the six-person group for Kawakami tax rice, Tsunachi was to serve as group leader from last year, but due to an error in last year's records, Kikatsu's duty box was not handed over, and this year's box was given instead. Therefore, Tsunachi began serving as group leader from this year, and today the tax rice arrived from납 head Kikiyo as usual, with Tsunachi overseeing distribution to the six intermediaries. ○ The daughter born on the 3rd of this month was given the childhood name Shū today, being her sixth day.
9th day, mizunoto-mi, clear. The auspicious Double Ninth Festival, as usual. ○ For the new mother, today is the seventh night ceremony.
