辞退があり、俄かに宏顕が兼任を頼まれた間、小折紙を差し出した分について取り計らってくれるよう入魂である。そこで朝飯を済ませ帰った後、直ちに番立を一通書き改め、次に結髪・行水を行った。
二番大鼓が打たれた後、所司大夫から供三人が来て、祝儀の御酒を給わった。召し具する類は朱傘・市女笠まで五番衆の品を借用した。但し兼ねてより所司からの入魂によるものである。今朝、乱箱へ入れ置いた品は、片木二枚、硯、筆《割書：白毛・白軸》、墨一挺《割書：但し龍形にして・無きが故に紙》《割書：を巻き紙捻りにて・三所結び置く》、半紙五枚《割書：濡れ紙・の用》、横折りの番立二通《割書：後見両人・の用》、二葉葵紋付きの文箱内に五日の差符二通、番の二通。一通は礼紙表包等を加えず、乗尻の名前も書かずに載せ置く。これは臨朝の際に乗尻が交替する時のためである。外に所司代並びに乗尻の勤め方、後見心得の記等を入れ置く。但しこの内、硯・墨・筆・片木等は所司からの来物である。

その時、検断より目代利季を以て予へ断りがあった。昨日相渡し置いた仮名検断書を損じたにつき、如何にすべきかとの旨である。そこでどのような書損じかと相尋ねしたところ、松平周防守殿以下社司の名前等をことごとく書き載せた由である。経千が即座に勘案し、その条の期限の義について白紙を以て張るのが然るべきかとの旨を申し聞かせたところ、左様であれば暫時入魂の由にて宅へ帰り、無事帰来した。
その時、神主信平卿が出座し、狩衣・大紋・指貫を着用して座敷次の間正中に着座した。左右に経千・宏顕・利季・斐顕・健氏・経興が各々浄衣・指貫。但し所司代経千・倭文乗尻宏顕等は例の如く藤色大紋である。末席の検断は布衣。献酒を始め、神主は三方向付《割書：干鱈・和布》、所司代以下は大片木向付同断、三つ盃三度、土器三方銚子、神師は浄衣に加え大工は上下。先ず神主より始まり経千へ転じ、次第に転じて検断にて了えた。その時、貴布祢々宜・乗尻斐顕が神主へ「御先へ仕るべき」との
