四日癸丑曇三條通大宮西入三寶寺近藤故求馬勝之墓金

八日丁巳晴成宮御年二薨去ニ付昨七日ゟ明九日ニ至リ鳴物停止也
但當今之姫宮御腹甘露寺国長卿御女也
十三日壬戌晴神楽講八會目如例於三本樹奥田屋被催予
巳刻比より行向夕刻無滞相済酉半刻帰郷経千為惣代社中へ
立寄無滞相済段申届了
十八日丁卯曇御霊會也健若叔千代等着長絹袴御家門え
初而参上御酒慶三升御菓子献上 両御所し三千君御方等
御對面被仰付拝領物御肴料被下品々被下之若御所御透
現代語訳
○小児等が例年のごとく老季端亭で初中元の回礼をした。ただし三男三雄太郎は当年が初度である。○経千は御家門において、その両親の代理で今日中元の御祝詞を申し上げた。○御家門の当季御附け届けの御給米以下御払い高等、総計二十一貫目余りである。
十五日乙未晴れ。御殿では例年のごとく中元総詣である。若御所への御参がある。
十六日丙申晴れ。経千に在所中の中元回礼をさせた。
二十五日乙巳晴れ。家父が当番で、経千が参勤した。
八月大
朔日庚戌晴れ。社頭当番である。家父の代参を頼み、宿の逞清へ頼んで代勤した。○御家門では例年のごとく総詣で、御用達の輩並びに御領村の百姓等が例年のように参上し、御祝酒を下され、両役の輩が各々盃を遣わすことが御例である。ただし今日は祝義のため到来物の分別を記すものである。
四日癸丑曇り。三条通大宮西入の三宝寺で近藤故求馬の墓に参詣した。
六日乙卯晴れ。神楽講八会目は前例のごとく来る十三日である。今日昼飯後に社中で前調べがあったが、予は参加しなかった。
八日丁巳晴れ。成宮が御年二で薨去されたため、昨七日から明九日に至るまで鳴物停止である。なお当今の姫宮の御腹は甘露寺国長卿の御女である。
十三日壬戌晴れ。神楽講八会目が例年のごとく三本樹の奥田屋で催され、予は巳刻頃より行き向かい、夕刻滞りなく済ませて酉半刻に帰郷した。経千が総代として社中へ立ち寄り、滞りなく済んだ段を申し届けた。
十八日丁卯曇り。御霊会である。健・若・叔千代等が長絹袴を着て御家門へ初めて参上し、御酒慶三升・御菓子を献上した。両御所で三千君の御方等との御対面を仰せ付けられ、拝領物・御肴料を下され、品々を下された。若御所の御透

○The children performed the customary mid-summer gift exchange at Rōki Tantei. However, this was the first time for the third son, Miyūtarō. ○Kyōsen offered congratulatory words for the mid-summer festival at the domain residence on behalf of his parents. ○The domain's seasonal attendance notifications, stipend rice and other payment totals amounted to over 21 kanme.
15th day, Kinoto-Hitsuji, clear. At the palace, there was the customary mid-summer general worship. There was a visit to the Young Prince's Palace.
16th day, Hinoe-Saru, clear. Had Kyōsen conduct mid-summer courtesy visits in the local area.
25th day, Kinoto-Mi, clear. Family father was on duty, and Kyōsen attended service.
8th Month, Long Month
1st day, Kanoe-Inu, clear. Shrine duty day. Requested father's proxy attendance, and arranged for substitute duty through the lodging keeper Teikiyo. ○At the domain residence, as customary, there was general worship where domain agents and village farmers from the domain lands came to pay respects as in previous years, were given celebratory sake, and the officials of both ranks each exchanged cups according to custom. However, today I record the distinction of arriving gifts for the celebration.
4th day, Mizuno-to-Ushi, cloudy. Visited the grave of the late Konoe Kyūma at Sanpōji temple, located west of Ōmiya on Sanjō Street.
6th day, Kinoto-U, clear. The eighth session of the kagura lecture is scheduled for the 13th as usual. Today after lunch there was a preliminary meeting at the shrine community, but I did not attend.
8th day, Hinoto-Mi, clear. Due to the death of Prince Naru at age two, musical instruments are prohibited from yesterday the 7th through tomorrow the 9th. The current princess consort is the daughter of Lord Kanrōji Kunimaga.
13th day, Mizuno-e-Inu, clear. The eighth session of the kagura lecture was held as usual at Okudaya in Sanbon-gi. I departed around the Hour of the Snake, concluded without incident at evening, and returned home at half past the Hour of the Cock. Kyōsen visited the shrine community as representative and reported that everything concluded smoothly.
18th day, Hinoto-U, cloudy. The Spirit Festival (Goryō-e). Ken, Waka, Oji Chiyo and others wore long silk hakama and made their first formal visit to the domain residence, presenting three shō of celebratory sake and confections. They were granted audience with Lady Sanzen and others at both palaces, and received gifts and money for delicacies, with various items bestowed. At the Young Prince's Palace...
