納頭人ニ付今日納口御蔵年番中成崇預文氏等へ着袴行向
河上正税米例年之通来ル八日當方可被納旨案内申入下方中ノ
市次郎梅ノ三右衛門等へハ下部使ヲ以同断申遣了但本儀ハ河上正税
米之事故矢刀祢江申付夫々可案内哉之処任近例如右宛斗了

右兵衛尉、民部、御勘定方織部、主膳等が午の刻後に行って見分を済ませ、図面を差し出すよう申し付けた。次に願人理兵衛方において休息し酒飯が出され、夕刻に各々退散した。
九月
三日壬午曇り。三手講六会目、昼飯後例の如く講所において開かれ参集した。
六日乙酉曇り。当夏の旱損につき当戌九月より明年亥八月に至るまで、社中一統倹約の件について、去る文政六未年旱損の節に触れ示された通り、帳面をもって手触れがあった。未年倹約帳の面と引き合わせたところ少々の違いがあったので、その趣を未年帳面に朱書きで入れ終えた。○当年河上正税を来経千が納頭人につき、今日納口御蔵年番中の成崇、預文氏等へ着袴で行き、河上正税米は例年の通り来る八日に当方へ納めるべき旨案内を申し入れた。下方中の市次郎、梅の三右衛門等へは下部の使いをもって同様に申し遣わした。但し本来は河上正税米のことゆえ矢刀祢へ申し付けそれぞれ案内すべきところ、近例に任せて右の通りのみとした。
七日丙戌晴れ。昼飯後講所において三手講六会の勘定があり、経益、予、民彦、弥七等が参集し申半刻ほどで済ませた。
八日丁亥曇り。当年河上正税を経千が納頭人につき各々当家へ納めた。向頭人清祈、氏眉並びに仲ヶ間四人等への米配分は例年の如く経千支配で終えた。委細は正税仲ヶ間算用状に記すので、ここでは省略する。この件が済み次第、張顕へ回した。○御家門当節前の御払い向きは無しとのこと。
九日戊子雨。重陽の祝いは例年の如し。
十日己丑雨。周子が当月三日初誕生日のところ祝いが延び、今日相祝した。
十三日壬辰晴れ。当年田地旱損の分につき、午の刻後に直一、主必、顕、経千等が同道し、亀四郎を召し連れて検分のため行った。

3rd day, Mizunoe-Uma, cloudy. The sixth session of the three-group lecture was held after lunch at the usual lecture hall, which I attended.
6th day, Kinoto-Tori, cloudy. Regarding austerity measures for the entire shrine community from this ninth month of Tsuchinoe-Inu year until the eighth month of next Tsuchinoto-I year due to this summer's drought damage, there was a circular notice with written records following what was announced during the drought of the sixth year of Bunsei (Hinoto-Hitsuji). When compared with the austerity records from the Hitsuji year, there were slight discrepancies, so I noted these differences in red ink in the Hitsuji year records. ○This year, Raikyōsen serves as tax collection head for Kawakami regular tax. Today I went in formal dress to inform Narutaka, Azukari-bun-shi and others of the annual granary staff that the Kawakami regular tax rice should be delivered to our place on the 8th as usual. For Ichijirō and Ume-no-Saemon in the lower district, I sent the same message through servants. However, since this concerns Kawakami regular tax rice, it should properly be handled through Yatone with individual notifications, but following recent precedent, I handled it only as described above.
7th day, Hinoe-Inu, clear. After lunch there was accounting for the sixth session of the three-group lecture at the lecture hall. Kyōeki, I, Tamihiko, Yashichi and others attended, finishing in about half an hour.
8th day, Tsuchinoto-I, cloudy. This year Kyōsen serves as collection head for Kawakami regular tax, with deliveries made to each household. The rice distribution to head Seiki, Ujimi, and the four intermediaries was managed by Kyōsen as in previous years. Details are recorded in the regular tax intermediary accounting records, so I omit them here. Upon completion, this was forwarded to Chōken. ○There are no preliminary payments for the domain house at present.
9th day, Tsuchinoe-Ne, rain. The Double Ninth festival celebration was as in previous years.
10th day, Tsuchinoto-Ushi, rain. Although Shūshi's first birthday was on the 3rd of this month, the celebration was postponed and held today.
13th day, Mizunoe-Tatsu, clear. Regarding this year's drought-damaged rice fields, after the Hour of the Horse, Naoichi, Shuhitsu, Akira, Kyōsen and others went together, taking Kameshirō along for inspection.
15th day, Kinoe-Uma, clear. As in previous years, the Kyō family gathered to stay at Kyōtoku's, but at elder brother Kyōshō's residence
