朔日戊寅晴れ。貴船社の御更祭が例年の如く行われ、歳の棚所別当の奉勤を逞清方へ任せ置いたので、その義に及ばなかった。○今日は御掃除御神事である。

六日癸未晴れ。保守遠引で今夕、飛鳥井町の料理屋において小寺村境屋庄兵衛が初めて西会を催した。御殿の御勝手向きへの御借用銀の事並びに御領村方争論一件の義等について示談に及び、一酌を催し、亥の刻頃に帰宅し済ませた。
八日乙酉晴れ。御家門の大坂表での御請三会目並びに木田庄左衛門方へ明年の御仕送銀、且つ同人へ京都御講銀の御利足の義等の示談につき、今日昼船で御用人坂本民部・経千等同伴で下坂した。仲間一人・下部二人を召し連れ、浪斎・難波橋両詰の俵屋喜助方で正宿とし、中野蔵人は過日より出坂して同所で旅宿して相待っている。
十三日庚寅晴れ。堂島の池田屋多兵衛方において御講三会目を催し、巳の刻より各々行向い、亥の刻頃に相済んで旅宿へ帰った。
十四日辛卯晴れ。今日旅宿において世話方の者共と御講勘定があり、粗々相済んだ。○今夜は新嘗祭である。
十五日壬辰曇り。今朝、坂本・予等が木田庄左衛門方へ暇乞いのために行向い、明亥年の御仕送銀の内十貫目を当冬へ御繰越しの義について頃日示談に及んだ処、御請け申し上げにつき挨拶を申し述べた。次に茨木屋安五郎手代吉兵衛方へ行向い、この度御講三口分の加入があったことについて挨拶を申し入れ済ませた。今夕、坂本・予・中野等同船で上京する。
十六日癸巳曇り。入夜に小雨が降った。午の刻前に御家門へ帰着し、御機嫌を窺い、御講が滞りなく相済んだ旨を言上した。三人より御土産として虎屋饅頭一箱ずつ三十入りを両御所へ献上し済ませて帰宅した。

2nd day, Tsuchinoto-U, clear. The Harvest Thanksgiving ceremony took place.
6th day, Mizunoto-Hitsuji, clear. Due to protective custody matters, this evening at a restaurant in Asukai-machi, Kodera village's Sakaiya Shōbei held his first western-style gathering. Discussions were held regarding borrowed silver for the villa's kitchen expenses and matters concerning village disputes in the domain, a drinking party was held, and I returned home around the hour of the Boar.
8th day, Kinoto-Tori, clear. For the third imperial family reception in Osaka and regarding next year's remittance silver to Kida Shōzaemon, as well as discussions about interest on Kyoto association silver with the same person, today by day boat, accompanied by officials Sakamoto Minbu, Kyōsen and others, we went down to Osaka. Taking along one companion and two servants, we stayed at Tawaraya Kisuke's place at both Namisai and Naniwa Bridge stations, with Nakano Kurando having come down to Osaka some days ago and waiting at lodgings in the same location.
13th day, Kanoe-Tora, clear. The third association meeting was held at Ikeda-ya Tahei's place in Dōjima. Everyone proceeded from the hour of the Snake, finished around the hour of the Boar, and returned to lodgings.
14th day, Kanoto-U, clear. Today at the lodgings, there was an association accounting session with the organizers, which was roughly completed. ○ Tonight is the Harvest Festival.
15th day, Mizunoe-Tatsu, cloudy. This morning, Sakamoto, I, and others went to Kida Shōzaemon to bid farewell. Regarding the matter of carrying over 10 kan of next year's remittance silver to this winter, which had been discussed recently, we expressed our greetings upon receiving approval. Next, we went to Ibarakiya Yasugorō's agent Kichibei to offer greetings regarding the addition of three shares to this association membership. This evening, Sakamoto, I, Nakano and others returned to Kyoto by the same boat.
16th day, Mizunoto-Mi, cloudy. Light rain fell at nightfall. Before the hour of the Horse, we returned to the imperial residence, inquired after His Lordship's health, and reported that the association business was completed without incident. As souvenirs from the three of us, we presented one box each of Toraya manjū (30 pieces) to both imperial residences and then returned home.
