The Harvest Thanksgiving ceremony took place. 6th day, Mizunoto-Hitsuji, clear. Due to protective custody matters, this evening at a restaurant in Asukai-machi, Kodera village's Sakaiya Shōbei held his first western-style gathering. Discussions were held regarding borrowed silver for the villa's kitchen expenses and matters concerning village disputes in the domain, a drinking party was held, and I returned home around the hour of the Boar. 8th day, Kinoto-Tori, clear. For the third imperial family reception in Osaka and regarding next year's remittance silver to Kida Shōzaemon, as well as discussions about interest on Kyoto association silver with the same person, today by day boat, accompanied by officials Sakamoto Minbu, Kyōsen and others, we went down to Osaka.
