十八日甲子雨 関東摂政・関白の宣下につき、鷹司右大将輔煕卿以下諸役の堂上方・地下等がそれぞれ今日関東へ参向のため出発した
十九日乙丑晴れ 両伝奏である広橋胤定卿・甘露寺国長卿が下向した。これは例年通りの訓卿等が今日関東へ出発したものである

二十四日庚午晴れ 関東一橋義同殿が当月二十日に薨去されたため、大樹家斉公は定式の御仮服を着用され（ただし実父公である）、並びに西丸内府家慶公は半減の御仮服等を御着用された旨、今日御付武家より御家門へ御達しがあった○同様につき来月八日まで鳴物停止の旨、社中に触れがあった
二十六日壬申晴れ 当年葵御祭の下行米が今日相渡され、例の通り頂戴した○御家門金一両掛御講につき午後三本木並びに吉田屋へ行き向かい、酉刻まで帰宅した
二十七日癸酉晴れ 大樹公摂政・関白宣下につき関東下向の御方々が大樹公御暇中は江戸に御滞留されるべき旨、関東より仰せ出されたという。もっとも伝奏衆も同様である
二十八日甲戌晴れ 当月社頭御番組の詰め替えがあった○子半刻頃より丑刻過ぎに至り大風・雷電・雹が降った

13th day, Tsuchinoto-Hitsuji, clear - The ninth kagura lecture meeting was held as usual at Okudaya in Sanbongi. Departed from the second half of the Snake hour, concluded in the evening, and returned home at the second half of the Rooster hour.
15th day, Kanoto-Tori, clear - Requested substitute service from Teisei for my father's duty shift.
16th day, Mizunoe-Inu - The Kanto Taishu (Shogun) Sakon-no-kami Ienari was today appointed as Daijō-daijin (Grand Minister of State). The presiding minister was Kazanin Dainagon Ieatsu. The Taishu's appointment as regent and chancellor is an unprecedented example.
18th day, Kinoe-Ne, rain - Due to the Kanto regent-chancellor appointment, Takatsukasa Udaishō Sukehiro and other court nobles of various ranks, both upper and lower court officials, departed today to visit Kanto.
19th day, Kinoto-Ushi, clear - The two imperial messengers, Hirohashi Tanesada and Kanroji Kuninaga, departed for Kanto. This is the usual annual departure of the instructing nobles to Kanto today.

24th day, Kanoe-Uma, clear - Due to the death of Hitotsubashi Yoshinao on the 20th of this month, Taishu Ienari donned the prescribed mourning attire (being his actual father), and Nishinomaru Naifu Ieyoshi wore half-mourning attire.
