被相尋但顕隆義内実者當春高倉殿ゟ御供ニ而関東下向云々
御尋申上候口上
一此度井関松千代大夫顕隆當春ゟ拾人目之内ニ而他國被致
候趣相聞候右之義不苦義哉連名之者共已後之心得ニも
相成候事故右之段御尋申上候已上

右ニ付三手惣老若打交参會被相催可然旨ニ而同十六日打交参會
有之評席ゟ当人顕隆へ被尋度義有之趣ニ而以手行事被相招
候処留主中之由ニ而養父下総守尋直為代出席ニ付右尋書被入一覧之処即
答二此度差掛リ高倉殿より関東へ致下向候間何卒御憐愍之
御沙汰ニ預度旨被申述退出云々仍而評ニ日数相立被居候人躰之末座
哉亦奉精進頭満行後哉ニ往来田可被充旨ニ粗被決尚又新宮
已下三手惣老若打交御参會可被相催旨ニ而同廿二日新宮已下参
會有之處養父尋直より歎願之書付被指出候得共難被及貧
着精進候満行後可被充旨ニ決此段尋直并被相尋次座之
衆之内一両輩被相招《割書：季布｜季斐》出席被申渡相済云々
廿九日甲辰快晴所司代水野越前守殿今日御家門へ初而御入也
此節大御所少々御違例ニ付若御所之御對面有之大御順之節
者例御盃御往来有之処今日ハ御口祝斗被進ニ而相済候也
晦日乙巳快晴故経岡縣主三回忌ニ付時節見舞旁大津保歳方へ
参如例年壺漬持参美知枝連帰々宅申下刻也

章顕・季布・通保・季発・清度・篤平等十二人から書付をもって左三手へ問い合わせがなされた。ただし顕隆については、内実は当春高倉殿からの御供として関東へ下向したとのことである。
お尋ね申し上げ候口上
一、この度井関松千代大夫顕隆が当春より十人目の内にて他国に赴いた趣を聞いております。この件について差し支えない義でしょうか。連名の者共の今後の心得にも関わることゆえ、この段お尋ね申し上げます。以上

三手御中
これについて三手惣老若が打ち交じって参会を催すのが然るべきとのことで、同十六日に打交参会があった。評席から当人顕隆へ尋ねたい件があるとして手行事を通じて招いたところ、留守中とのことで養父下総守尋直が代理出席した。問い合わせ書を一覧したところ、即座に答えて「この度差し迫って高倉殿より関東へ下向いたします間、何卒御憐愍の御沙汰に預かりたい」旨を申し述べて退出した。よって評議で、日数が経って帰参した人物は末座か、または精進頭満行の後か、往来田に充てるべき旨がおおよそ決められた。さらに新宮以下三手惣老若が打ち交じって御参会を催すべきとのことで、同二十二日に新宮以下の参会があったところ、養父尋直より嘆願の書付が指し出されたが、及び難く、着精進満行の後に充てるべき旨に決した。この段を尋直並びに問い合わせられた次座の衆の内一両輩が招かれ《季布・季斐》、出席して申し渡されて済んだ。
二十九日甲辰快晴 所司代水野越前守殿が今日御家門へ初めて御入りである。この節大御所が少々御違例につき、若御所との御対面があった。大御所が順調な節は例の御盃の御往来があるところ、今日は御口祝のみ進められて済まされた。
晦日乙巳快晴 故経岡県主三回忌につき時節見舞いを兼ねて大津保歳方へ参った。例年のように壺漬を持参し、美知枝を連れ帰った。帰宅は申の下刻であった。

To the Santé
Regarding this matter, it was deemed appropriate for all senior and junior members of the Santé to convene together, so on the 16th day there was a mixed assembly. The evaluation council wished to inquire of Akataka himself, so they summoned him through the ceremonial official, but he was away, so his adoptive father Shimousa-no-kami Hirosune appeared as his representative. When shown the inquiry document, he immediately replied: "At this time, due to urgent matters, he has gone down to the Kantō region from Lord Takakura's residence, so we humbly request your merciful consideration," and then withdrew. Therefore, it was roughly decided in the evaluation that those who return after an extended absence should either take the lowest seat, or serve after completing ascetic practices, or be assigned to the rice field rotation. Furthermore, it was decided that all senior and junior members from Shingū and below should convene together, so on the 22nd day there was an assembly of Shingū and others. Although adoptive father Hirosune submitted a petition, it was deemed inadmissible, and it was decided he should serve after completing ascetic practices. Regarding this matter, Hirosune and one or two of the next-ranked members who had been inquired about were summoned《Suefusa, Suehide》, attended, and were informed of the decision.
29th day, Kinoe-Tatsu, clear weather - Magistrate Mizuno Echizen-no-kami entered the house for the first time today. At this time, the Great Retired Shōgun was slightly indisposed, so there was an audience with the Young Shōgun. When the Great Retired Shōgun was in good health, there would be the customary exchange of sake cups, but today only congratulatory words were offered.
Last day, Kinoto-Mi, clear weather - For the third memorial service of the late Keoka-agatanushi, I visited Yasutoshi in Ōtsu combining it with a seasonal courtesy call. As in previous years, I brought pickled vegetables in jars and returned with Michie. I arrived home at the latter part of the Hour of the Monkey.
