肴三種次之吸物等出了而本膳出茶碗蒸付也後段更に
吸物御酒出了而亥刻斗相済各退散珍重々々
廿七日己亥晴堀川方へ参昨日之挨拶申入且昨日新宮より贈金
百両之内當座返済方夫々江州へ渡之了而残金三拾弐両
壱歩尚又経千預之持帰也

仰付戌刻妙傳寺へ為御養生御下り也了而右若君御居間経千え

入来して出座した。これは過日以来内証で世話があった故である。次に吸物、鯛の鰭以下肴三種、次の吸物等が出て終わり、本膳が出た。茶碗蒸し付きである。後段、更に吸物、御酒が出て終わり、亥の刻頃に済んで各々退散した。珍重なことであった。
二十七日己亥晴れ 堀川方へ参り昨日の挨拶を申し入れ、且つ昨日新宮より贈られた金百両のうち当座返済分をそれぞれ江州へ渡し終わり、残金三十二両一歩をなお経千が預かって持ち帰った。
二十八日庚子晴れ 御家門の若君（百十居方、八歳二才）が一昨日二十六日以来御疱瘡にかかり、御治定の医師佐井聞庵が診察したところ、今暁丑の刻頃より変症となり甚だ御勝ちがよろしくない。更に医師進藤玄之が仰せを受けて参上し薬を調進したが、申の刻頃御引付があり、酉の刻に御大切となった。俄かに御用人坂本民部は近習、藤掛内蔵等が御掛りを仰せ付けられ、戌の刻に妙伝寺へ御養生のため御下りとなった。そして右の若君の御居間について経千に御清祓を仰せ付けられ、麻上下を着用し麻十二座、洗米等を以て清祓を相勤めた。
二十九日辛丑晴れ 今朝更に本式の御清祓を仰せ付けられ、早天に浴湯し浄衣を着用し、故百十君御方の御居間二間で本式御清祓の諸具を相調えて相勤めた。○保子の従父兄千浦所持の家屋敷（黒門通下立売下る町）の沽券状一通は、先達て以来堀川江州方へ借用があり、借財方へ渡し置かれていたところ、今度返金が済み沽券状を取り戻されたため、今日より更に経子が預かることになり、則ち江州より受け取った。これにより江州まで右の状の預り証文を経千より遣わし置いた。○家父の当番について逞清方へ代勤を相頼んで遣わした。

朔日壬寅晴れ 貴船社御更祭は例年の如くである。○家父の廟飯継目出番である。逞清へ代勤を相頼んだ。

[Namba Bizen-no-kami] arrived and took his seat. This was because he had been providing secret assistance since the previous occasion. Next, soup, three kinds of appetizers including sea bream fins, and additional soups were served, followed by the main meal service with steamed egg custard. In the latter part, more soup and sake were served. Everything concluded around the hour of the Boar (9-11 PM), and everyone dispersed. It was truly an auspicious occasion.
27th day, Tsuchinoto-I, clear - I went to the Horikawa residence to offer yesterday's greetings, and from the 100 gold pieces gifted by Shingū yesterday, the immediate repayment amounts were distributed to Gōshū respectively. The remaining 32 ryō 1 bu were still entrusted to and taken home by Keisen.
28th day, Kanoe-Ne, clear - The young lord of the shogun's household (Hyakutō-imasu-kata, 8 years old) had been suffering from smallpox since the day before yesterday, the 26th. When the appointed physician Sai Bun'an examined him, from around the hour of the Ox (1-3 AM) this morning, his condition worsened significantly and he was not doing well at all. Additionally, physician Shindō Gen'yuki was summoned and prepared medicine, but around the hour of the Monkey (3-5 PM) there was a crisis, and by the hour of the Rooster (5-7 PM) his condition became critical. Suddenly, chamberlain Sakamoto Minbu, along with close attendants Fujikake Kurando and others were appointed to oversee the situation, and at the hour of the Dog (7-9 PM) he was taken down to Myōden-ji Temple for medical treatment. Regarding the young lord's chambers, Keisen was ordered to perform purification rituals, donning hemp ceremonial dress and conducting the purification with hemp mats, washed rice, and other materials.
29th day, Kanoto-Ushi, clear - This morning, a formal purification ritual was additionally ordered. I bathed early in the morning and put on clean robes, then conducted a formal purification ritual in the two-room quarters of the late Hyakutō-kun, preparing all the necessary implements. ○ The property deed for the house and lot owned by Houko's paternal uncle's elder brother Chiura (located on Kuromon-dōri, south of Shimodachiuri) had been borrowed by Horikawa Gōshū for some time and handed over as collateral for debt. Now that the repayment has been completed and the deed recovered, from today it will be newly entrusted to Keiko, so I received it from Gōshū. Accordingly, I sent a custody certificate for this document from Keisen to Gōshū. ○ I requested Teisei to serve as substitute for my father's regular duty.
