三日より実父保仲方へ預け有之段々糺明之上今度親族経董経威
経千等依取扱養母おまさ女江保歳より之詫状給誤一札差出
再度帰家治定也依之今日保歳右為一礼入来令面會尚已後之
儀示聞了尤今夕帰津之由也

此度我不埒之筋有之候処御親類中之預リ御取成帰家仕候
段忝奉存候然ル上者 御殿江忠勤之儀者勿論少茂私曲ヶ
間敷義無之於家者専倹約を守諸事亡父遺言ニ毛頭
背申間敷候萬一再度心得違之筋有之候ハゝ我等を始子
供等に至迄何ヶ様之御取斗被成下候とも其節一言之御断

十七日乙亥曇 御家門和歌御会始めの諸事を昨年の如く経千が取り次ぎ加勢を相勤めた。
十九日丁丑晴 昼食後、神楽講十一会目の勘定が評議所であり、参集した。容顕一人が不参。夕刻に済んだ。
二十五日乙未晴 葵御祭の御下行米両人分二石を今日例の如く頂戴した。
二十六日丙申晴 昼食後、三手講の前調につき予と氏彦が講所へ参集した。経益は不参であった。
二十七日丁酉曇後雨降 酉の刻、貴船端社の正遷宮である。神主が初参向した。これにつき今日、禁中にて御神事が行われたとのこと。
二十八日戊戌晴風烈し 御家門若御所へ御参り。内権大納言の御相賀。来る三月十日の御直衣始め、同十一日等の御窺いが御治定された。○御祭下行米代銭の雑用を引いた残り一人分一貫七百八十四文を各々配当として頂戴した。
二十九日己亥晴 故経岡翁の養子保歳について不行状の次第があったため、正月二十三日より実父保仲方へ預けられていたが、段々糺明の上、今度親族の経董・経威・経千等の取り扱いにより、養母おまさ女へ保歳からの詫び状・誤り一札を差し出し、再度帰家することが治定された。これにより今日保歳が右の一礼のため入来し、面会させ、なお以後の件について示し聞かせた。もっとも今夕帰津の由である。

この度私の不埒の筋があったところ、御親類中のお預かり・お取り成しにて帰家いたす段、かたじけなく存じ奉る。然る上は、御殿への忠勤の件は勿論、少しも私曲がましい義理はこれなく、家においては専ら倹約を守り、諸事亡父の遺言に毛頭背き申すまじく候。万一再度心得違いの筋があれば、我等をはじめ子供等に至るまで、いかような御取り計らいを成し下されても、その節一言の御断り

17th day, Yi-Hai, cloudy: For the New Year poetry gathering of the noble household, Keisen assisted with various arrangements and ceremonial duties as in the previous year.
19th day, Ding-Chou, clear: After lunch, there was an accounting meeting for the 11th session of the Kagura lecture at the council chamber. Everyone assembled except Yoshiaki who was absent. It concluded in the evening.
25th day, Yi-Wei, clear: Today I received the customary two koku of rice distributed from the Aoi Festival for two people, as is traditional.
26th day, Bing-Shen, clear: After lunch, I and Ujihiko assembled at the lecture hall for the preliminary arrangements of the three-group lecture. Keimasu was absent.
27th day, Ding-You, cloudy then rain: At the You hour (evening), the formal relocation ceremony of Kifune Tansha shrine took place. The head priest made his first ceremonial visit. In connection with this, imperial rites were performed at the Imperial Palace today.
28th day, Wu-Xu, clear with strong winds: Visit to the young prince's residence of the noble household. Congratulations to the Inner Right Major Counselor. The imperial inquiry regarding the court dress ceremony on March 10th and the 11th was decided. ○ After deducting miscellaneous expenses from the Aoi Festival rice allowance money, the remaining 1,784 mon per person was distributed to each of us.
29th day, Ji-Hai, clear: Regarding Yasutoshi, the adopted son of the late Elder Keiko, due to his misconduct, he had been placed in the care of his biological father Yasunaka since January 23rd. After thorough investigation, through the mediation of relatives Keitō, Keii, Keisen and others, Yasutoshi submitted a letter of apology and acknowledgment of error to his adoptive mother Omasa, and his return home was decided. Therefore, today Yasutoshi came to pay his respects regarding this matter, I met with him and instructed him about future conduct. He is reportedly returning to his domain this evening.

Formal Statement
Regarding my recent improper conduct, I humbly express my gratitude for the care and mediation of my relatives that has allowed my return home. Henceforth, regarding loyal service to the palace, needless to say, I shall have no selfish or improper behavior whatsoever. At home I shall strictly observe frugality and in all matters shall not deviate in the slightest from my late father's testament. Should I again err in my conduct, whatever disposition you may make of myself and my children, I shall not utter a word of protest at that time...
