He took a stubborn stance that was deemed inappropriate, and consequently was dismissed from his position, assigned to the outer retainer group, and placed in Takahashi Koemon's unit.
However, due to eye disease, he did not serve in castle guard duty.
One: In the 8th month of the same year, when head Takahashi Koemon had his position changed, he was transferred to the successor position under Kayano Gonbee's unit.
One: In the 1st month of the 3rd year, Dog year, as requested, his son Budayū was appointed as his substitute for guard duty.
One: On the 25th day of the intercalary 12th month of An'ei 4th year, Sheep year (1775), he died of illness at the age of eighty. Shinto funeral rites, spirit name Chūritsu Reishin. Burial site: Ōkubo Mountain.
