已むことを立て不相当の義と思し召され、御役御免を成され、外様組付を仰せ付けられ、高橋小右衛門組へ入った。   但し眼病により御城御番を相勤め申さない事 一 同年八月、頭高橋小右衛門の御役替により、跡御役萱野権兵衛組に相成った事 一 同三戌年正月、願いの通り悴武太夫に御番代を仰せ付けられた事 一 安永四未年閏十二月廿五日、八拾歳にて病死。神道葬祭、霊号忠立霊神。葬所大窪山 二代養子  武太夫祐従 《割書:初め外之丞、享保十九寅年十二月十九日誕生》  実は伊東清左衛門祐興の三男  妻 田中蔵人忠護の女 《割書:寛政十二申年十二月廿九日病死、法名貞性院皎顔明潔大姉、導師祥雲山善龍寺、葬所大窪山》 一 寛延三午年十二月、親の願いの通り初めて之[続く]

He took a stubborn stance that was deemed inappropriate, and consequently was dismissed from his position, assigned to the outer retainer group, and placed in Takahashi Koemon's unit. However, due to eye disease, he did not serve in castle guard duty. One: In the 8th month of the same year, when head Takahashi Koemon had his position changed, he was transferred to the successor position under Kayano Gonbee's unit. One: In the 1st month of the 3rd year, Dog year, as requested, his son Budayū was appointed as his substitute for guard duty. One: On the 25th day of the intercalary 12th month of An'ei 4th year, Sheep year (1775), he died of illness at the age of eighty. Shinto funeral rites, spirit name Chūritsu Reishin. Burial site: Ōkubo Mountain.
