In Keian 3 (1650), the Year of the Tiger, 2nd month: He was summoned to Edo and appointed as permanent attendant to Lord Iwahiko, and was ordered to report matters concerning the lord's private chambers directly to his lordship. He was appointed to a position equivalent to close attendant (gosoba) and received a stipend increase of 200 koku

Lord Hōshōin He was ordered to serve both Lord Iwahiko's duties as well
1. In Meireki 1 (1655), the Year of the Sheep, 6th month:
When Lord Iwahiko returned to Aizu, he accompanied him and received a stipend increase of 100 koku
1. In the winter of the same year: He accompanied his lord's procession to Edo for the mandatory attendance
1. In the 3rd year of the same era (1657), the Year of the Rooster, 2nd month:
Lord Iwahiko passed away
He accompanied the lord's remains on their return to Aizu
