【上部】文政十一子都市年十一月十二日あさ五ツ時より大地しんゆりいだし十四日迄三日のあいたちうやゆりやますうみべとふりいつもざき【下部】八彦明神の山大にくづれて海の中へおしいだし同所三條まちつばめ町また東御門ぜきみどう大門のこらずゆりたおし其外田はた山川くずれこぼり大地へあぶれいて人馬けが任人数しれず凡いへかず八千げん余たおれくずれ牛馬三千余も打ころされこゝんまれなる大地しんそのあらましをくゝにうつしぬ

【上部】文政11年子（1828年）都市年 11月12日朝五つ時（午前8時頃）より大地震が揺り始まし 14日まで3日間絶え間なく揺り止まず海辺へと降りいつも崎【下部】八彦明神の山が大きく崩れて海の中へ押し出し同所の三条町つばめ町また東御門関弥堂大門残らず揺り倒し、その外田畑山川崩れ壊れ大地へ溢れ出て人馬怪我人数知れずおおよそ家数八千軒余り倒れ崩れ牛馬三千余頭も打ち殺され古今稀なる大地震そのあらましをここに写しぬ
