【右丁】
金銀花　山野に多くあり、樹に絡みついて蔓延し、節ごとに対生して葉を生やす。
　形は楕円形で先端が尖っている。春に新葉を生やす。菊葉に似たものがあり、丸葉の
　ものもある。皆一つの根から変化して生じるもので、別種ではない。四、五月に葉の間に花
　を開く。香りがある。一つの花柄に二花、一節に四花が同日に開く。長さ一寸余り、基部は細
　く筒状で、末端は深く分かれて二弁となる。上の一弁は広くて四つに浅く
　分かれている。下の一弁は狭くて分かれない。内に五つの白いしべがある。蕾のときは淡
　紅色、開けば白色、日を経て黄色に変じて落ちる。一枝の中で黄と白が相
　映える。ゆえにキンギン花という。土佐国ではスイバナと呼ぶ。一種で花
　が開いて紅色になるものがある。ともに花の後、二つの円い実が一つの花柄に生じる。一つは大きく
　一つは小さく、熟して色は黒い。また一種、肥後の産は葉が大きくて厚い。花もまた
　大きい。
△主な効能　甘温、毒なし。きのこの毒を解し、腫れ物の毒を治す。

Kingingka　Abundant in mountains and fields, it twines around trees and spreads, producing leaves in opposite pairs at each node.
　The shape is oval with pointed tips. New leaves emerge in spring. Some resemble chrysanthemum leaves, and some
　have round leaves. All variations grow from the same root system and are not separate species. In the fourth and fifth months, flowers
　bloom among the leaves. They are fragrant. Two flowers per stem, four flowers per node bloom on the same day. Length over one sun, the base is thin
　and tubular, the end deeply split into two petals. The upper petal is broad and shallowly
　divided into four parts. The lower petal is narrow and undivided. Inside are five white stamens. When in bud, they are pale
　pink, when opened they are white, and after some days they turn yellow and fall. On one branch, yellow and white
　complement each other. Hence it is called Kingin (gold-silver) flower. In Tosa Province it is called Suibana. There is one variety where the flowers
　turn red when they bloom. In both cases, after flowering, two round fruits form on one stem. One is large and
　one is small, ripening to a black color. There is also one variety from Higo Province where the leaves are large and thick. The flowers are also
　large.
△Main properties　Sweet and warm, non-toxic. Neutralizes mushroom poison and treats swelling toxins.
