【右丁】
仙翁花（センオウゲ）　古い根から春に苗を生じる。形は剪夏羅（ガンピ）に似ているが葉が小さく深緑色で、細かい白い毛が生えている。六七月に茎の高さは二尺ほど、茎に節があって二葉が相対して生える。枢頭に数花が房状に生える。五弁でガンピより色が美しく朱のようである。弁の先が深く裂けて細弁のように見える。また白花もあり、白赤の斑入り、口紅色、黄色、茶色、八重咲きがあり、この外にも品種が多い。また小倉センノウがあり、小さな草で花が早く開く。また一種でマツモト（中国名：剪春羅）というものがある。一名マツモトセンノウゲという。ガンピより早く四月初めに花を開く。深紅色、また浅紅、白、黄、間色、八重等の数十品がある。皆ガンピの品種である。

Sen'ōge (Lychnis senno)　Produces seedlings in spring from old roots. The form resembles kansara (ganpi) but the leaves are smaller and deep green with fine white hairs. In the sixth and seventh months the stem height reaches about 2 shaku, with nodes on the stem where two leaves grow opposite each other. Several flowers cluster at the branch tips. Five petals, more beautiful in color than ganpi, like vermillion. The petal tips are deeply split appearing like narrow petals. There are also white flowers, white-red variegated, lip-red, yellow, brown, and double-flowered varieties, with many other cultivars besides these. There is also Ogura-sennō, a small plant that flowers early. There is also one variety called Matsumoto (Chinese name: jiǎn chūn luó). Also called Matsumoto-sen'ōge. It flowers earlier than ganpi, beginning to bloom in the fourth month. Deep red color, and also dozens of varieties in light red, white, yellow, mixed colors, double flowers, etc. All are cultivars of ganpi.
