一 稲葉長之助の屋敷へ出向いたところ、一族や家臣が出迎えに
出ていたので、それぞれに挨拶をした
一 座敷に通され、用人に今日の件について詳細を申し述べた
一 長之助と対話をし、料理が出された。間もなく供回りを整えるよう
指示し、一族の人々が見送りをした。長之助は今日は座敷の
内まで見送りをしたのである
一 帰宅は七ツ半時（午後5時頃）

1. When I went to Inaba Chōnosuke's residence, his family members and retainers had come out
to greet me, so I exchanged greetings with each of them
1. I was shown to the sitting room and explained the details of today's matter to the yorinin (chief retainer)
1. I had a conversation with Chōnosuke, and a meal was served. Shortly after, I ordered
my entourage to be prepared, and his family members saw me off. Chōnosuke today
escorted me as far as inside the sitting room
1. Returned home at nanatsu-han-doki (around 5 PM)
