板倉大炊頭隠居之御礼名代相勤候扣

一 今日板倉大炊頭隠居之御礼為名代六半時出宅
熨斗目長上下着用登 城
一 右為名代致登 城候段以坊主其段以坊主御目付衆え申遣置候
一 板倉周防守家督之御礼申上候ニ付被出候間御礼席
之義打合置候
一 御礼之稽古例之通相済雁之間ニ罷在御目付
衆被参寄り候様被申聞周防守同道大廊下え
相越扣居御礼相始り御目付会尺被致候間
御奏者番之脇え参り手ヲ突罷在御奏者番
会尺被致候間御白書院御縁側御礼席え罷出
平伏板倉大炊頭と披露ヲ承り引申候
但扇子は坊主衆ヘ預置候事
一 中之口ニ而板倉周防守留守居え逢大炊頭殿御名代

一 今日板倉大炊頭隠居の御礼のため名代として六半時（午前七時頃）に出宅
熨斗目長上下を着用して登城
一 右の名代として登城致し候段を坊主を以てその段を御目付衆へ申し遣わし置き候
一 板倉周防守家督の御礼申し上げ候につき出席候間、御礼席
の義を打ち合わせ置き候
一 御礼の稽古を例の通り相済ませ、雁の間に罷り在り、御目付
衆が参り寄り候様申し聞け、周防守同道にて大廊下へ
相越し控え居り、御礼相始まり御目付会釈を致し候間
御奏者番の脇へ参り手を突き罷り在り、御奏者番
会釈を致し候間、御白書院御縁側御礼席へ罷り出で
平伏し「板倉大炊頭」と披露を承り引き申し候
但し扇子は坊主衆へ預け置き候事
一 中之口にて板倉周防守留守居に逢い「大炊頭殿御名代

1. Today departed residence at 6:30 AM (around 7 AM) to serve as representative for Lord Itakura Ōi-no-kami's retirement ceremony
Wore noshi-me long kamishimo and proceeded to the castle
1. Regarding serving as representative for castle attendance, sent word through a monk attendant to inform the metsuke officials
1. As Lord Itakura Suwō-no-kami was to present his respects for succession to family headship, coordinated
the matters of the ceremony seating arrangement
1. Completed the customary rehearsal for the ceremony, remained in the Kari-no-ma room, when the metsuke
officials came and instructed us to proceed, accompanied Suwō-no-kami to the great corridor
and waited in attendance. When the ceremony began and the metsuke performed their greetings,
proceeded to the side of the shōsha-ban official, knelt with hands placed, and when the shōsha-ban
performed greetings, went out to the ceremony seat at the veranda of the Gohaku-shoin
prostrated myself, received the announcement as "Itakura Ōi-no-kami" and withdrew
