一 蘇鉄之間ニ而造酒留守居え御礼無滞申上候段
申含退座
一 老若廻勤口上書持参且又廻り仕廻え造酒留
守居も罷出居候
但外下馬中且ハ 西丸え出仕無之ニ付松平能登殿
相勤夫ゟ引返し植村駿河殿水野壱岐殿
青山下野殿相勤又候引戻し松平右京殿
京極周防殿相勤跡ハ例之通順々相勤候
一 同席衆えも登 城之上ニ而名代罷出候段
咄合置候
但右ハ文政三辰年十一月朔日板倉百助
家督之御礼名代罷出候節之例

一 蘇鉄の間において造酒と留守居へ御礼が滞りなく申し上げられた旨を
申し含めて退座した
一 老若廻勤の口上書を持参し、また廻り仕舞いへ造酒と留守居も
出席していた
ただし外下馬中であり、また西丸へ出仕がないため松平能登殿が
勤め、それから引き返して植村駿河殿、水野壱岐殿、
青山下野殿が勤め、また引き戻して松平右京殿、
京極周防殿が勤め、その後は例の通り順々に勤めた
一 同席の人々へも登城の上で名代が参上する旨を
話し合っておいた
ただしこれは文政三年辰年十一月朔日に板倉百助の
家督の御礼に名代が参上した際の例による

and then withdrew from my seat
1. I brought the written report for the senior-junior rotation duty, and Miki and the resident retainer were also
present for the conclusion of the rounds
Note: During the outer dismounting period, and since there was no service at the Western Palace, Lord Matsudaira Noto
served, then returning, Lords Uemura Suruga, Mizuno Iki,
and Aoyama Shimotsuke served, then returning again, Lords Matsudaira Ukyo and
Kyogoku Suo served, after which they served in the usual sequential order
1. I also discussed with my fellow seat holders that a representative would appear
after entering the castle
Note: This follows the precedent from the 1st day of the 11th month of Bunsei 3, year of the dragon, when
a representative appeared for Itakura Hyakusuke's family succession ceremony
