　尺程引延て又一丈二尺つまる也三ッ繰かんせん縫

一綾取の懸糸抔は下捻は大方二百廻位上捻は百五
　十廻しに合てよし
一錦の機等に仕掛る通糸等右に同し
一／紡錘（つむ）目方竜子共に十三匁五分又紡錘十匁位竜

一車に掛るつるべ糸は木綿十二本引揃下捻を懸合
　す也太さ箏糸の太さなり
一つるべを紡錘へ懸るは手前の輪に結附てぐるりと廻
　しほどきて結合す結方はまむすびなり手前のつむ
　より懸け始め順に懸る此つるべのつり加減至て大事也

【左丁】
　立鼓へは油を引べしつるべの糸加減能時ははづして
　糸を解き二ッ三ッ捻を指先にてもとして繋く也
　弱けれは二ッ三ッ捻を懸る此力に村あれは糸に村
　出るなり尤天気時候によりてつるべ糸の延ひつ
　まりあるものなり心を附べし

　　　金糸捻方
一本金位の名ぶつし同濃ぶつし中焼又大焼《割書：此は｜古》
　《割書：金襽を織｜箔なり》
一捻金は一繰り長曲尺にて三丈五尺程あり
一箔上中下は金の位に因て究め其上は金厚く掛る

【右丁】
　尺ほど引き延ばして、また一丈二尺つまるのである。三つ繰りかんせん縫
　の糸も同前である。
一、綾取りの掛け糸などは、下撚りは大方二百回位、上撚りは百五
　十回ほどに合わせてよい。
一、錦の機などに仕掛ける通し糸なども右に同じである。
一、紡錘（つむ）の目方は竜子ともに十三匁五分、また紡錘十匁位、竜
　子三匁位でよい。
一、車にかけるつるべ糸は木綿十二本を引き揃え、下撚りをかけ合わ
　せるのである。太さは箏糸の太さである。
一、つるべを紡錘へかけるのは、手前の輪に結び付けてぐるりと回
　し、ほどいて結び合わせる。結び方は真結びである。手前の紡錘
　より掛け始め、順にかける。このつるべの張り加減は至って大事で
　ある。強ければ撚り過ぎ、緩ければ撚りがかからない。口伝である。
【左丁】
　立て鼓には油を引くべきである。つるべの糸加減が良い時は、はずして
　糸を解き、二つ三つ撚りを指先で戻して繋ぐのである。
　弱ければ二つ三つ撚りをかける。この力にむらがあれば糸にむら
　が出るのである。もっとも天気・時候によってつるべ糸の伸び縮み
　があるものである。心を付けるべきである。

　　　金糸撚り方
一、本金位の名物、同じく濃い物、中焼き、また大焼き《割書：これは
　《割書：金襴を織る古い箔である》
一、撚り金は一繰りで、長さは曲尺で三丈五尺ほどある。
一、箔の上中下は金の位によって決める。その上は金を厚くかける
　ほど良い。
一、毛金糸は極めて細く紡いだものを言う。

　Stretch it about one shaku, then it shrinks again by one jo two shaku. The same applies to triple-reeled kanren sewing thread.
1. For twill-patterned suspension threads and such, the lower twist should be about 200 turns, and the upper twist should be combined at about 150 turns.

1. For spindle weight, both spindle and weight together should be 13 monme 5 bu, or alternatively, the spindle should be about 10 monme and the weight about 3 monme.
1. The pulley cord attached to the wheel is made by aligning twelve cotton threads and applying lower twist. The thickness is that of koto strings.
1. To attach the pulley to the spindle, tie it to the front loop, wind it around completely, then untie and retie. The knot should be a true knot. Start hanging from the front spindle and proceed in order. The tension adjustment of this pulley is extremely important. If too tight, it over-twists; if too loose, the twist doesn't catch. This is oral teaching.

　Oil should be applied to the standing drum. When the pulley cord tension is good, remove it, unwind the thread, undo two or three twists with fingertips, and reconnect. If weak, apply two or three twists. If there is unevenness in this force, unevenness will appear in the thread. Of course, pulley cord stretching and shrinking occurs depending on weather and season. One should pay attention to this.

　　　Gold Thread Twisting Method
1. Authentic gold grade famous items, similarly dark items, medium-fired, and also heavily-fired《Note: These are old foils for weaving gold brocade》
1. Twisted gold measures about three jo five shaku in length per reel using the curved ruler.
1. The upper, middle, and lower grades of foil are determined by the grade of gold. For the upper grade, the thicker the gold application, the better.
1. Fine gold thread refers to extremely finely spun thread.
