道浦舟は類に乗出る兼而手立有り四月廿ニ日打払し唐
船北沖に行其後岩屋芦屋よりも？（逃る）に相見へ遠沖に漂
流候追而帰帆は然處？五月初頃より新来の障（まま）別
船壱艘漂流し暫は遠沖に漂流に仕かけ可見とて丑の刻
頃芦屋例口出船し追手風能故惣船帆を掛走り出
白嶋辺にて帆を下る先小船頭物見に乗ぬけ方

一 この詰めの御船手が派遣されたのは、この間から唐船が遠沖ばかりに漂流し、討ち払い船が出ればそのまま退き、すぐにまた来るなどするため、御船手から何とか唐船に乗り込んで、去年七月八月

両度のように唐船に船手だけ乗り移り、上回りの物を海に投げ入れるように唐人どもに迷惑をかけ、その後大筒で撃ち掛けるのがよろしいという儀が決定されて、御手加子の中でも優秀な者を別々に二十八人余り、伝馬や浦舟などに乗り出る。かねて手立てがあり、四月二十二日討ち払った唐船は北沖に行き、その後岩屋・芦屋からも逃れるように見え、遠沖に漂流していたが、やがて帰帆したようである。ところが五月初頃から新来の唐船別の一艘が漂流し、しばらくは遠沖に漂流しているので仕掛けてみようということで、丑の刻頃芦屋の例の口から出船し、追手風がよいので総船が帆を掛けて走り出し、白島辺りで帆を下ろした。まず小船頭が物見に乗り抜けて
