十月七日
一、今朝六つ時前に出宅し、裏付肩衣と馬乗袴を着用（今回は一同申し合わせて白足袋を用いる）して登城し、菊之間に集合した。
ただし、乗馬用の馬と乗り替え用の馬は、今暁七つ半時に馬役が付き添って矢来御門に送り置いた。
一、石川六右衛門から案内があり、中之口から出て寺沢御門、蓮池通りを経て吹上御庭前の幕張りの内に控えていた。

October 7th
1. This morning, before the hour of the Horse (around 6 AM), I left home wearing ura-tsuki kataginu (formal court dress with lining) and horse-riding hakama (this time, as agreed upon by all, we wore white tabi socks), proceeded to the castle, and assembled in the Kiku-no-ma (Chrysanthemum Room).
Note: The riding horses and replacement horses were sent to Yarai Gate at half past the hour of the Monkey this dawn (around 3:30 AM), accompanied by horse attendants.
1. Upon receiving guidance from Ishikawa Rokuuemon, we exited through Naka-no-kuchi, passed through Terasawa Gate and Hasuike Street, and waited within the curtained area in front of Fukiage Garden.
