現代語訳
山に逃げたが、後に悔いて過ちを改め国風に従おうとしたものの、一旦領主の教えに背いたため、まだ夷名を免れることを許されず、農民と同じ席に連なることも許されていない。今これを津軽の蝦夷と呼んでいる。

英語訳
They fled to the mountains, but later regretted their actions and tried to reform their ways and follow the national customs. However, because they had once opposed their lord's teachings, they have not yet been permitted to be freed from their barbarian names, nor are they allowed to share the same status as farmers. Today they are called the Tsugaru Ezo.
