懸札引上新ニ質屋仕度旨願出候ハヽ取調之上承届時々
懸札可相渡事
一右質屋株賣譲等ハ不相調為試質屋軒別ゟ冥加銀
壱ケ年ニ弐拾目宛年々召上候事
一郡々ニおゐて質屋共之内裁判人申付右懸札外不正之
取質仕不申様取究向人柄撰とも存寄可申出事
一市中ニ構候佐古庄蔵本嶋田矢三上下助任富田
北濱南濱下八万村廻之義ハ是迄仕来候質屋之外
新ニ願出候之不相調候事
右之通ニ候条夫々申付方可遂了簡候就而ハ先年ゟ度々
御究向相立居候通心得違無之様質屋ヲ始一枚ニ
右之通可相觸候事
一此度株居申付候質屋之外一切取質仕候義堅指留候万一
抜之取質仕候者於有之ハ其品取上候事
一惣而盗物之品被盗主ゟ質屋へ尋ニ罷越見改被盗品々
引合候ハヽ其日ゟ六拾日限元銀を以可請返右日限過候ハヽ

掛札を引き上げて新たに質屋をしたい旨願い出た場合は、取り調べの上承知届け、その都度
掛札を相渡すこと
一、右質屋株の売り譲り等は認めず、試しとして質屋軒別より冥加銀
一か年に二十目ずつ年々召し上げること
一、郡々において質屋どもの内より裁判人を申しつけ、右掛札以外の不正な
質取りをしないよう取り究めに向け、人柄を選んで存じ寄りを申し出ること
一、市中に構える佐古・庄蔵本・嶋田・矢三・上下助任・富田
北濱・南濱・下八万村廻りについては、これまで仕来たりの質屋以外は
新たに願い出ても認めないこと
右の通りなので、それぞれ申しつけ方について了解を遂げるべきです。ついては先年より度々
お究めに向け相立っている通り、心得違いのないよう質屋をはじめ一枚に
右の通り相触れること
一、この度株居を申しつけた質屋以外は一切質取りをすることを堅く差し留める。万一
抜け駆けの質取りをする者がある場合は、その品を取り上げること
一、総じて盗品について、被盗主より質屋へ尋ねに参り越し見改め、被盗品々と
引き合わせた場合は、その日より六十日限り元銀をもって請け返すべし。右日限を過ぎた場合は

When signboards are withdrawn and new applications to conduct pawnshop business are submitted, after investigation and acknowledgment of the application, signboards shall be distributed each time.
1. The sale or transfer of said pawnshop licenses shall not be permitted. As a trial measure, myōga silver of twenty me per year shall be collected annually from each pawnshop.
2. In each district, judges shall be appointed from among the pawnshops to ensure that no illegal pawning is conducted outside of those with proper signboards. Suitable persons shall be selected and their recommendations submitted.
3. Regarding the areas within the city limits of Sako, Shōzōmoto, Shimada, Yazo, Jōge Suketo, Tomida, Kitahama, Minamihama, and Shimohachiman village vicinity, no new applications shall be accepted beyond the pawnshops that have operated there traditionally.
As stated above, each should understand the method of implementation. Furthermore, as has been established repeatedly since previous years for investigation purposes, to avoid any misunderstanding, this shall be announced on a single sheet beginning with the pawnshops as stated above.
1. All pawning operations are strictly prohibited except for pawnshops granted licenses at this time. Should anyone conduct unauthorized pawning, those items shall be confiscated.
2. Generally, regarding stolen goods, when theft victims visit pawnshops to inquire and examine items, and stolen goods are identified through comparison, they may be redeemed with the original silver amount within sixty days from that date. If this time limit is exceeded...
