答曰 二京令令十三兆九千六百六十億（をく）つゆ也
右之数けしにつもりてなにほとそと問
三千四百九十一石五斗也
但日本東西長さ九百廿七里十八町と云
又南北凡そ二百里にして一里は丗六町。一町は
六十間。一間は。六尺五寸。一寸四方に。五つゆ
の。つもりなり
現代語訳
【下巻八丁裏】
▲一間四方の銭箱には、銭がどれほど入るかという問い。
答え：
一万八百三十三貫三百三十二文
また、米はこの箱に
四十三石九斗四升入る。
【下巻九丁表】
▲日本国中に一度降る雨の数（雨粒の数）はどれほどあるかという問い。
答え：二京零零十三兆九千六百六十億粒の雨露である。
上記の数の雨を芥子粒に換算するとどれほどになるかという問い。
三千四百九十一石五斗である。
ただし、日本の東西の長さは九百二十七里十八町といわれ、
また南北はおよそ二百里であり、一里は三十六町、一町は
六十間、一間は六尺五寸とする。一寸四方に五粒の雨露が
降るものとして計算する。

A further problem asking: if the above number of raindrops were converted into mustard seeds (*keshi*), how much would that amount to?
3,491 *koku* and 5 *to*.
Note: The east-west length of Japan is said to be 927 *ri* and 18 *chō*,
and the north-south extent is approximately 200 *ri*. One *ri* equals 36 *chō*, one *chō* equals
60 *ken*, and one *ken* equals 6 *shaku* 5 *sun*. The calculation assumes
5 drops of rain fall per square *sun*.
