二百五十目で割ると、七百十六石四斗とわかる。
また、「人から預かった金六貫八百目の分に相当する米はいくら渡せばよいか」という問いに対して、
○答：二百七十石六斗四升を渡せば釣り合う。
計算法：先の七百十六石四斗に六貫八百目をかけると、四八七一五二（＝487152）となる。これを銀の総額十八貫目で割ると、二百七十石六斗四升とわかる。これが人から預かった金の分に相当する量である。

【下巻二十九丁表】
《題：親子家渡（おやこいえわたし）》
▲ある人が、二十一歳になった子に家（財産）を譲り渡すにあたって、生まれた時から子にかかった費用として、一年につき半米（はんまい）二石ずつ使い、一年につき五十目ずつを諸入り用として、二十一歳までの間、米と金を二割の利息をかけて積み立て、「これほど汝のために使い置いたので、この分も譲りの内に書き付けて渡す」と言った。

二十一歳まで、おおよそこれほどかかる。

Dividing by 250 *monme*, one finds that 716 *koku*, 4 *to* can be transported.
Furthermore, for the question "how much rice should be handed over to account for the 6 *kan* 800 *me* that was entrusted by another person?":
○ Answer: 270 *koku*, 6 *to*, 4 *shō* should be handed over, and this balances the account.
**Method:** Multiply the earlier result of 716 *koku*, 4 *to* by 6 *kan* 800 *me*, which yields 487,152. Divide this by the total silver amount of 18 *kan me*, and one finds 270 *koku*, 6 *to*, 4 *shō*. This is the portion corresponding to the money entrusted by the other person.

**《Problem Title: Parent–Child Property Transfer (親子家渡)》**
▲ A certain person, upon transferring the family estate to their child who has come of age at 21, declares: "From the time of your birth, I have spent on your upkeep 2 *koku* of *hanmai* (half-hulled rice) per year and 50 *me* per year for miscellaneous expenses. Over the years up to your 21st birthday, these amounts have been accumulated with compound interest at a rate of 20% (*niwari*). I have invested this much on your behalf, and I am therefore recording this amount within the property transfer deed."
*Hanmai* (half-hulled rice): 1,000 *koku*
Miscellaneous expenses: 25 *kan me*
Up to the age of 21, approximately this much has been spent.
