現代語訳
一、享保元年申年10月、御城内の御休息の間並びに御部屋の御普請を出精よろしく勤めたということで、御褒美として金2分を下し置かれた。
一、同2年酉年、大寺村御茶屋その外、百姓の居宅で廻国使の宿となったため、御普請御用を勤めた。
一、同3年戌年、坂下村御茶屋並びに境蔵郷頭表御長屋の御普請について赴き勤めた。
ただし右の外、御城内をはじめ各所から郷村まで御普請御用を数度勤めた。
一、同8年卯年11月、願いの通り御大工方を御免になり下され、数年実体に勤めたため中ノ口番を仰せ付けられた。
一、同12年未年、染蝋燭蔵役を仰せ付けられた。
一、同16年亥年12月、病気のため養生中、息子源太の代役を仰せ付けて下された。

- In the 1st year of Kyōhō, year of the Monkey, 10th month, for diligently performing construction work on the rest chambers and quarters within the castle, he was granted 2 bu in gold as a reward.
- In the 2nd year of the same era, year of the Rooster, regarding the Ōdera village tea house and other peasant residences that served as lodging for traveling officials, he performed construction duties.
- In the 3rd year of the same era, year of the Dog, he went to work on the construction of the Sakashita village tea house and the front long house of the Sakai-kura village headman.
In addition to the above, he served construction duties numerous times from various locations within the castle to rural villages.
- In the 8th year of the same era, year of the Rabbit, 11th month, as requested, he was released from the carpentry department, and having served faithfully for several years, he was appointed as Naka-no-kuchi guard.
- In the 12th year of the same era, year of the Sheep, he was appointed as dyed candle warehouse keeper.
- In the 16th year of the same era, year of the Boar, 12th month, due to illness and while recuperating, his son Genta was appointed as his substitute.
