のため上り一陣を勤めて帰国した件

1. In the 2nd month of the same 2nd year (1689), year of the snake, at the time of sankin
he went up as rear guard
1. In the 2nd month of the same 3rd year (1690), year of the horse, he contracted smallpox and his hair
fell out, so he petitioned to return home for recuperation,
which was granted, and in the 9th month of the same year he recovered and
went back up to Edo
