土常様御弓御稽古被遊候ニ付
支度調次第江戸表へ可罷登
旨被 仰付且於江戸外様之
渡方ニ而ハ内証病ニも可相成候間
別段御近習扶持詰金等被下置
之旨被 仰出候事
一同年八月御弓御稽古始被
遊候為御祝儀御目録を以金三
百疋被下置候旨被 仰出候事
一同年十一月最早寒ニ茂相
成候ニ付来春御稽古可被遊候旨
被 仰出何角心労致候ニ付銀
子三枚被下置御晒被下置罷
下候事
一同四未年六月御次番被
仰付候事
一同年七月御役御免被成下度
旨願申上候処御次番之御番
御免被遊候御弓之御用計相勤
候様被 仰出候
現代語訳
一、土常様が御弓の御稽古をなさるにつき、
支度が整い次第江戸表へ上るよう
仰せ付けられ、また江戸での外様の
渡り方では内証の病気にもなりうるので、
別段に御近習扶持詰金等を下し置かれる
旨仰せ出された件
一、同年八月、御弓御稽古始めを
なされたことへの御祝儀として御目録をもって金三
百疋を下し置かれる旨仰せ出された件
一、同年十一月、最早寒さにも
なったので来春御稽古をなされる旨
仰せ出され、何かと心労をしているので銀
子三枚を下し置かれ、御暇を下され
下った件
一、同四年未年六月、御次番を
仰せ付けられた件
一、同年七月、御役御免を成し下されたい
旨願い申し上げたところ、御次番の御番は
御免になったが、御弓の御用のみ相勤める
よう仰せ出された件

1. As Lord Dotsune was to practice archery,
he was ordered to go up to Edo as soon as preparations were ready,
and since the circumstances of outer retainers in Edo
could lead to private illness, he was granted
special stipends for close attendant service
1. In the 8th month of the same year, in celebration of the beginning
of archery practice, he was granted 300 hiki of gold
through a formal gift list as announced
1. In the 11th month of the same year, as it had already
become cold, it was announced that practice would resume in the coming spring,
and since he had various concerns and worries, he was granted
three pieces of silver and given leave to
return home
1. In the 6th month of the 4th year (1739), year of the sheep, he was
appointed to guard duty rotation
1. In the 7th month of the same year, when he petitioned
to be relieved of his duties, he was exempted from guard rotation duty
but ordered to continue serving only
archery-related duties
