一 四月廿五日後精進揚ニ付御使者を以御肴《割書：鯛｜》一折被献之
但右御精進揚御献上之儀毎月九日十八日廿一日廿五日
御在府年定例故以後不記之
一 同日御関所女通手形之事今切御関所奉行松平主馬助 殿ゟ
御老中江被相伺候處以前之通家老共以判形可相通旨
御指図有之段申来ニ付遠州今切信州福嶋上州横川
御関所江御家老判鑑取替指出之
但今切江者主馬助殿迄御書を以被遣福嶋江者江戸ゟ
罷帰大御番嶋崎市郎左衛門を以被遣之横川江者
於江戸表御支配之方屋敷迄御使者を以被遣之
一 同月廿九日江戸表ゟ為御用横目西尾伝兵衛《割書：正｜虎》被遣今日
福井江着依之御家老斎藤民部《割書：定｜之》宅江御家老御役人

厳有院様七回御忌御法事有之ニ付 御機嫌為御伺
御使者を以葛一箱并薯蕷一籠被献之右御披露

一 四月二十五日 後精進揚げにつき御使者を以て御肴《割書：鯛》一折を献上しました
ただし右の御精進揚げ御献上の件は毎月九日・十八日・二十一日・二十五日
御在府年の定例ゆえ以後は記載しません
一 同日 御関所女通手形の件 今切御関所奉行松平主馬助殿から
御老中へ伺いを立てられたところ、以前の通り家老たちの判形で通行可能との旨
御指図があった段申し来たにつき、遠州今切・信州福島・上州横川
御関所へ御家老判鑑の取り替えを指し出しました
ただし今切へは主馬助殿まで御書を以て遣わされ、福島へは江戸から
帰った大御番嶋崎市郎左衛門を以て遣わされ、横川へは
江戸表において御支配の方の屋敷まで御使者を以て遣わされました
一 同月二十九日 江戸表から御用のため横目西尾伝兵衛《割書：正虎》が遣わされ今日
福井へ着いたので、御家老斎藤民部《割書：定之》宅で御家老・御役人の
寄合がありました
一 五月四日

Note: Regarding the above abstinence-ending ceremony presentations, since they occur on the 9th, 18th, 21st, and 25th of every month
as a regular custom during years of residence in Edo, they will not be recorded hereafter
1. Same day: Regarding women's transit permits for checkpoints - The Imagiri checkpoint magistrate Matsudaira Shuma-no-suke
inquired with the rōjū, and instructions came that women may pass through as before with the seals of the senior retainers,
so seal samples of the senior retainers were submitted for replacement to the checkpoints at
Imagiri in Enshū, Fukushima in Shinshū, and Yokogawa in Jōshū
Note: To Imagiri, [documents] were sent with a letter to Shuma-no-suke; to Fukushima, they were sent through
Shimazaki Ichirōzaemon of the ōban who had returned from Edo; to Yokogawa, they were sent
through a messenger to the mansion of the administrator in Edo
1. 29th day of the same month: Inspector Nishio Den'bei 《marginal note: Masatora》 was sent from Edo for official business and arrived
in Fukui today, so a meeting of senior retainers and officials was held at the residence of senior retainer Saitō Minbu 《marginal note: Sadayuki》
1. 5th month, 4th day:
For the seventh anniversary memorial service of Genyūin-sama, to inquire after [the shōgun's] well-being,
one box of kudzu and one basket of yams were presented through a messenger. After the above presentation
was completed, an official letter came from rōjū Ōkubo Kaga-no-kami 《marginal note: Tadatomo》
