大御番所まで順々に並び居り、御通りがかりに一同で御目見申し上げた。
御座の間において御家老へ御長なまこを下されてから、白書院の間へ御出座され、本多孫太郎（長員）を初めとする高知の面々、御家老の息子、御留守居まで御長なまこを下された。鉄砲の間において御家老が出席し、御用人、瓦御門番、御番頭、同じくその息子が二行に出て、御長なまこを自分で頂戴した。御書院において諸物頭から諸士並びに同じくその子供が二行に出て、御長なまこを自分で頂戴し、御式が済んでから御座所へお入りになった。
一 六月二十四日 右同様につき御帰国御礼のため、御使者本多勘解由（富敬）を江戸表へ派遣された。今日福井を出立。
一 同月末日 今度銀札の使用を停止されたことにつき、破棄した書付を差し出すよう御家老から御奉行へ申し渡したところ、左の通り提出された。

[They] lined up in order up to the Great Guard Post, and when His Lordship passed by, all had audience with him together.
In the audience chamber, sea cucumbers were bestowed upon the chief retainers, after which he proceeded to the Hakushoin chamber. Starting with Honda Magotarō (Nagazane), the high-ranking retainers, sons of chief retainers, and deputy governors all received sea cucumbers. In the firearms hall, with the chief retainers in attendance, the chamberlains, Kawara Gate guards, guard captains, and their sons came forth in two rows and personally received the sea cucumbers. In the study hall, from the various captains to regular samurai and their children came forth in two rows, personally received the sea cucumbers, and after the ceremony was completed, [His Lordship] retired to his quarters.
1. June 24th: For the same reason as above, as a courtesy for returning to the domain, the messenger Honda Kageyu (Tomitaka) was dispatched to Edo. He departed from Fukui today.
1. Last day of the same month: Regarding the cessation of paper money usage this time, the chief retainers instructed the magistrates to have documents submitted showing [the amounts] destroyed, whereupon the following were submitted:
