去頃彦坂壱岐守を以越前守病気之様子
御尋之処気色不宜趣達
上聞御大法有之ニ付領分被召上旨
上意之趣奉得其意候追付越前守江為申聞国許江も
早々可申遣旨
昌親様御請被仰上其節加賀守殿左之通

上意の趣旨
去る頃、彦坂壱岐守を通じて越前守の病気の様子を
お尋ねしたところ、気色がよろしくない旨が上聞に達し、
ご大法（重大な処罰）があるにつき、領分を召し上げる旨
上意の趣旨を承知いたしました。追って越前守に申し聞かせるため、国許へも
早々申し遣わすべき旨
昌親様が御請けを申し上げられ、その際加賀守殿より左の通り
上意の趣旨をお達しになった

兵部大輔両人の儀、御筋目があるにつき
新たに二十五万石を仰せ付けられ、則ち福井の城を
お預けになる旨
阿部豊後守（正武）殿が再び左の通りお達しになった
越前守に存生の内に二万俵を下し置かれる旨
右の御礼を申し上げ、備後守殿とのお取り合いがあり御退去。それより御礼のため御老中・御側御用人・若年寄中・御側衆へ
御廻勤
一 閏三月六日 右同じ政断につき瀧主計（明矩）、石川宗左衛門（成政）を早駆にて
御国許へ遣わされた

The Shogun's Will:
Recently, through Hikosaka Iki-no-kami, we inquired about the condition of Echizen-no-kami's illness.
When we learned that his condition was not favorable and this reached the Shogun's ears,
there shall be severe punishment (ōhō), and his domain shall be confiscated.
We have understood the Shogun's will. We shall immediately inform Echizen-no-kami
and send word quickly to his domain as well.
Lord Masachika accepted this directive, and at that time Lord Kaga-no-kami conveyed
the Shogun's will as follows:

Regarding the two Hyōbu-taiyu, due to their lineage,
they are newly granted 250,000 koku and entrusted
with Fukui Castle.
Lord Abe Bungo-no-kami (Masatake) again conveyed the following:
Two thousand hyō shall be granted to Echizen-no-kami during his lifetime.
After expressing gratitude for this, there was an exchange with Lord Bingo-no-kami, and they withdrew. Thereafter, to express gratitude, they made courtesy visits to the senior councilors, chamberlains, junior councilors, and attendants.
