一 八月二十一日 瓦御門番の牧野主殿(易之)、太田三弥、菅沼市左衛門(家次)、
岡部新九郎(貞則)、松原右衛門(嘉白)、西尾主税(宗鋪)は御着城の時から
瓦御門の御番を相勤めていたが、以後御番を御免になり、今まで瓦
御門番と相唱えていた名目を相改め、向後は寄合と相唱える様に
仰せ出された
一 同日 右同断につき瓦御門番の件は狛杢允(貞澄)、稲葉采女(正信)、
酒井玄蕃(元知)の与力の者どもへ御番を仰せ付けられ、昼夜三人ずつ
相勤めるため、御城代有賀左衛門(政方)の与力の者一人ずつを泊番のみに相加わり
相勤める様に仰せ出された
一 同月二十三日 御招請により松岡へ御出になった

1. August 21st: The Kawaramikado gate guards Makino Tonomo (Yukiyuki), Ōta Sanya, Suganuma Ichizaemon (Ieji),
Okabe Shinkurō (Sadanori), Matsubara Uemon (Yoshihaku), and Nishio Chikara (Munetei) had been serving
guard duty at the Kawaramikado gate since [the lord's] arrival at the castle, but henceforth they were relieved of guard duty, and the
designation they had been called "Kawaramikado gate guards" was changed, and they would henceforth be called "Yoriai" (senior advisors)
1. Same day: Regarding the same matter above, for the Kawaramikado gate guard duties, the retainers under Koma Mokunosuke (Sadazumi), Inaba Uneme (Masanobu),
and Sakai Genba (Mototomo) were assigned to guard duty, with three men serving day and night shifts,
and one retainer each from Jōdai (castle overseer) Ariga Saemon (Masakata)'s men was added to serve only overnight guard duty

One copy each of the regulations was distributed to all monthly duty officers by the monthly duty senior retainer Honda
Sahyōe (Naoshige), and in the adjoining room, with the inspectors present, one copy each of the memorandum was
distributed
