一 九月二十八日 御代官の都筑長左衛門殿、松田又兵衛殿、
平岡吉左衛門殿を御本丸に招いて御饗応があった。
御代官中が御越しになった節、大御番所へ高屋伊織長英が出迎えし、
御書院へ案内して着座の節には御家老・若年寄が出座して
挨拶があった。終わって本多孫太郎長員、高知の面々が出座し、
御代官中との挨拶が相済んで、御出座され御対顔の後、韃靼の
間へ御同道して着座の上、御長膳が出され御料理（三汁十菜）が出された。
引物を御直に御引きになされ、御吸物・御酒を一緒に召し上がられた

浄光院様の御像堂を孝顕寺へ御建立することが仰せ出された
一 同月九日 月次の御機嫌伺いとして御使者堀
十兵衛久律を江戸表へ指し出し、御肴一種（干鰈三十枚）を献上した。
十兵衛は今日福井を出立した
一 同日 御湯治のため三国へ御出でになされた。御先乗りは高田
金太夫正府で、組を召し連れ鉄砲五挺を召し連れた。御先御道具（御弓立五組、御矢箱一荷）、
（御手筒二挺、御休机、御傘、御立笠、大鳥毛、御槍、御具足櫃、
突留御槍二本、御腰物筒、御持槍、御■槍、御茶弁当）を持参され、同十六日に
御帰殿された
一 十一月三日 越後守光長様の御配流が御免となり江戸表へ

1. 9th month, 28th day: The deputy administrators Tsuzuki Chōzaemon-dono, Matsuda Matabei-dono, and
Hiraoka Kichizaemon-dono were invited to the main keep for a banquet.
When the deputy administrators arrived, Takaya Iori Nagahide met them at the Great Guard Station,
guided them to the Audience Hall, and upon their seating, the chief retainers and young elders came out
to greet them. After this concluded, Honda Magotarō Nagakazu and members from Kōchi came out,
and once greetings with the deputy administrators were completed, [His Lordship] came out for the meeting, and after the face-to-face meeting,
they proceeded together to the Tartar Room where they were seated. The formal meal service was brought out with dishes (three soups and ten side dishes).
[His Lordship] personally presented the parting gifts, and they partook of soup and sake together
1. 10th month, 8th day:
It was announced that a memorial hall for Jōkōin-sama would be built at Kōkenji Temple
1. Same month, 9th day: For the monthly well-being inquiry, the envoy Hori
Jūbei Kyūritsu was dispatched to Edo, presenting one type of fish offering (thirty pieces of dried flounder).
Jūbei departed from Fukui today
1. Same day: [His Lordship] departed for Mikuni for hot spring treatment. The advance party was led by Takada
Kintayū Masafu, who brought along his unit and five firearms. The advance equipment included (five bow stands, one load of arrow boxes),
(two hand cannons, a rest table, umbrellas, standing hats, large feathers, spears, armor chests,
two thrusting spears, sword cases, holding spears, [unclear] spears, tea lunch boxes), and [His Lordship]
returned to the castle on the 16th of the same [month]
1. 11th month, 3rd day: Echigo-no-kami Mitsunaga-sama's exile was pardoned, and [he was allowed to return] to Edo
