正し寺証文を取置念を入吟味すへし
若替りたる宗旨を願ひ不審なる者
あらは早速可申来かくし置外より
顕はるゝに於ては庄屋長百姓其五人組迄
可為罪科事
一御蔵并給所惣百姓年来習はしあしく
有之候間向後耕作万事念を入其時節を
たかえす油断なく精出し常々親に
孝をつくし夫婦兄弟むつましく親類
縁者友百姓にいたる迄互に心をあわせ
身を持立候様に仕悪念を捨善心を
はけみ我慢を止め正路に可仕事
一御年貢米納銀納其外万納物等御勘定所
定之通相守急度皆済仕るへし若定之
時節相延難渋仕候はゝ催促をうけ其
まかない彼是いよ〳〵迷惑可仕間催促を
受不申内に精出し皆済可仕事
附納所皆済不仕以前金銀米銭自分に
現代語訳
正しく寺の証文を取り置き、念を入れて吟味すべし。
もし宗旨を替えたいと願う者や不審な者が
あれば早速申し来るべし。隠し置いて外より
露見するに於いては、庄屋・長百姓・その五人組まで
罪科とすべきこと。
一、御蔵並びに給所の総百姓は、年来習わしが悪く
あったので、向後は耕作万事に念を入れ、その時節を
違えず油断なく精出し、常々親に
孝を尽くし、夫婦・兄弟睦まじく、親類・
縁者・友・百姓に至るまで互いに心を合わせ、
身を持ち立てるようにし、悪念を捨て善心を
励み、我慢を止め、正路に行うべきこと。
一、御年貢米・納銀・納物その他万納物等は、御勘定所の
定めの通り相守り、急度皆済すべし。もし定めの
時節が延び難渋するならば、催促を受け、その
まかない彼是でいよいよ迷惑をすることになるので、催促を
受けない内に精出し皆済すべきこと。
附 納所皆済しない以前に、金銀米銭を自分に

they should be reported immediately. If they are concealed and later
discovered from outside sources, the village headman, senior farmers, and their five-person groups shall

bad customs for years, so hereafter they should put effort into all aspects of cultivation,

filial piety to their parents, live harmoniously as husbands and wives, brothers and sisters, and
from relatives and relations to friends and fellow farmers, coordinate their hearts with each other,
conduct themselves properly, abandon evil thoughts and encourage good intentions,
stop being obstinate, and follow the righteous path.
1. Annual rice taxes, tax payments in silver, tribute payments, and all other tax obligations should be
observed according to the regulations of the accounting office and must be completed without fail. If the prescribed
deadline is extended and difficulties arise, demands for payment will be made, and
the management of this and that will cause ever greater troubles, so before receiving demands for payment,
one should work diligently and complete all payments.
