吟味を遂げた上で船の御渡しがあったとの段、同所に差し置かれた御家来から申し上げてきたので、この段を御老中へ御達しするのが宜しかろうということで、彦坂壱岐守重紹殿へ御書を以て仰せ遣わされた。
一、十二月四日、寒中につき御機嫌伺いのため御使者井上半太夫恒尭を江戸表へ差し出し、御肴一種を献上した。半太夫は今日福井を出立した。
ただし半太夫の江戸着日は不詳、同月二十一日に御返書の御渡しがあった。
一、同月七日、年始御祝儀御献上の御使者松原三郎兵衛が今日福井を出立した。
一、同月十五日、越後守光長様が御配所から御帰府された。
一、同月十八日、寒中につき御書（十二日付）を以て例の通り御国産一番の生鱈を献上した。
一、同月二十六日、歳暮御祝儀のため御使者を以て例の通り御小袖を献上した。御台様へは白銀十枚を指し上げた。
一、同日、大目付高木伊勢守守蔵殿から申し来たり、御留守居が罷り出たところ、捨馬御制禁の儀につき左の通り御書付並びに口上書の御渡しがあった。

After conducting an investigation, it was reported by retainers stationed there that the ship had been returned. Regarding this matter, it was deemed appropriate to report to the Council of Elders (rōjū), so a letter was sent to Lord Hikosaka Iki-no-kami Shigetsugu.
1. On the 4th day of the 12th month, envoy Inoue Handayū Tsunetaka was dispatched to Edo to inquire after [the shogun's] health during the cold season, presenting one type of fish as offering. Handayū departed from Fukui today.
Note: The date of Handayū's arrival in Edo is unknown, but a reply letter was received on the 21st of the same month.
1. On the 7th day of the same month, Matsubara Saburōbei, the envoy for New Year congratulatory offerings, departed from Fukui today.
1. On the 15th day of the same month, Lord Echigo-no-kami Mitsunaga returned to the capital from his place of exile.
1. On the 18th day of the same month, due to the cold season, fresh cod, the finest local product, was offered as usual with a letter dated the 12th.
1. On the 26th day of the same month, as year-end congratulatory ceremony, kosode robes were offered as usual through an envoy. Ten pieces of silver were presented to the Shogun's wife.
1. On the same day, a message came from Chief Inspector Takaki Ise-no-kami Morizō. When the caretaker official went to meet him, written instructions and an oral statement regarding the prohibition of horse abandonment were handed over as follows.
