自叙
抑（そも〳〵）天満大自在天（てんまんだいじざいてん）の御神徳（ごしんとく）申も中〴〵はゝかりの
関（せき）も不戸向（とざゝず）泰平（たいへい）に治（おさま）る国（くに）の御功（おんいさほし）を記（しるす）も百済（くだら）唐土（もろこし）の
十五 帖（でう）の双紙（さうし）となし玉の春を寿（ことぶく）のみ
上之巻 末白川（すへしらかわ）の浪風（なみかぜ）も
治（おさま）り靡（なび）く豊年（ほうねん）の国民（くにたみ）
中之巻 天下太平（てんかたいへい）を
并（なら）べ行（おこなは）るゝ文武（ぶんぶ）の両道（りやうだう）
下之巻き 月額（さかやき）青（あを）き聖代（せいたい）も
有り難（がた）ひ日本（につぽん）の風俗（ふうぞく）

自序
そもそも天満大自在天の御神徳を申し上げることは、なかなか恐れ多いことですが、
関所も閉ざすことなく太平に治まるこの国の御功績を記し、百済や中国の
十五帖の冊子として、宝玉のような春を祝福するのみです。
上巻 末白川の波風も
治まり靡く豊年の国民
中巻 天下太平を
並べ行われる文武の両道
下巻 月代青き聖代も
ありがたい日本の風俗

Preface
Indeed, to speak of the divine virtue of Tenman Daijizaiten is quite an overwhelming task, but I record the meritorious achievements of this country that is governed in great peace without closing its barriers, making it into a fifteen-volume booklet like those of Baekje and China, only to celebrate the jewel-like spring.
