以 廻状致啓上候今日惣出仕に付拙者共
致出仕候処年号改元之儀京都ゟ被
仰進弘化と御治定被 仰出候段於
雁之間年寄衆列座阿部伊勢守殿被
仰渡候且又御同人御渡候由にて渡辺能州
被相達候年号文字写幷御書付写
壱通都合両通相廻申候御順達留り之従
御方摂津守方え御返却可被下候以上

廻状をもってご挨拶申し上げます。本日は総出仕につき、私ども出仕いたしましたところ、年号改元の件について京都より申し進められ、「弘化」と御治定が仰せ出されました段、雁之間において年寄衆列座の上、阿部伊勢守殿より仰せ渡されました。またその同人よりお渡しがあったということで、渡辺能州より申し伝えられました年号文字写ならびに御書付写一通、都合両通を回覧いたします。順次伝達し、最後の方は摂津守方へご返却くださいますよう。以上。

Circular Notice Akimoto Tajima-no-kami
Ōta Settsu-no-kami
《Marginal note: One copy of era name characters, one copy of official notice》attached
We respectfully send greetings by circular notice. Today, regarding the general attendance, when we attended our duties, concerning the matter of changing the era name, it was reported from Kyoto that "Kōka" has been determined as the imperial decision. This was announced by Lord Abe Ise-no-kami in the presence of assembled senior councilors in the Kari-no-ma (Wild Geese Room). Furthermore, as it was said to be handed down by the same person, Watanabe Nōshū conveyed the copy of the era name characters along with one copy of the official notice, making two documents in total for circulation. Please pass these along in order, and the final recipient should return them to Settsu-no-kami. That is all.
