六日目
一、大紋で五時半に登城し、通常の席へ罷り出る。
様子を見て、出御の節の月次御礼の席は西湖の間北の御縁側で行う。
御目見えは六日の詰日の者だけが大広間の御縁側通りに着座し、寺社関係者も御目見えが相済む。入御まで罷り在り、その外の同席中は初回の御目見えが相済んだ節には即刻退出する。
ただし、右の大広間へ廻る者は詰日に限らず、申し合わせて五、六人程度が相廻る。もっとも、廻らない衆は直ちに退出する。
七日目
一、熨斗目半上下で登城する。
集合の刻限は申し合わせる。
通常の席で様子を見て、竹の御廊下へ一統に相廻り、出御を相待つ。
一、御黒書院へ出御があり、御上壇へ御着座される。御三家方の御礼が相済み、隠居の御礼を遊ばされ、御請けが相済んだ時分に老中の御会釈があり、同席一統に溜の間へ罷り出て、入御の節に御目見えして即刻退出する。
一、退出以後は西丸へ出仕すること。

Sixth Day
1. Wearing formal crested garments (daimon), one goes to the castle at 5:30 and appears at the usual seat.
Observing the situation, the monthly courtesy ceremony seat during His Lordship's appearance is at the northern veranda of the Seiko Chamber.
For the audience, only those on duty on the sixth day sit along the veranda passage of the Great Hall, and temple and shrine officials also complete their audience. They remain until His Lordship withdraws, while others among the same rank withdraw immediately after completing their first audience.
However, those who go to the Great Hall are not limited to those on duty days; by arrangement, about five or six people proceed there. Those who do not go around withdraw immediately.
Seventh Day
1. One goes to the castle wearing ceremonial half-formal dress (noshi-me han-kamishimo).
The time for assembly should be arranged in advance.
At the usual seat, observing the situation, all proceed together to the Bamboo Corridor and await His Lordship's appearance.
1. His Lordship appears at the Black Shoin and takes his seat on the upper platform. After the Three Branch Houses complete their courtesies and the retired lord's ceremony is performed and acknowledgments are completed, the senior councilors give their greetings. All of the same rank proceed to the Waiting Chamber, have an audience when His Lordship withdraws, and immediately retire.
1. After withdrawal, one serves at the Western Citadel (Nishinomaru).
