一 例之通出仕例年阿蘭陀人御礼有之
衣服無別儀月次之ことく
出御之節御黒書院御縁頬通にて
御目見相済大広間松之間え廻御張付
之方一面に並居阿蘭陀人御礼相済
退出老中御挨拶無之

一 上巳に付熨斗目長袴にて五時前登
城常之席にて見合
御目見之席帝鑑之間にて御礼申上
畢て大広間板縁に並居
入御以後老中御挨拶有之候て退出
一 退出以後西丸えも出仕之事
当月中公家衆 御対顔
御返答御能之次第左之通
一 勅使 院使 御対顔有之候節は大紋
着用五時か五半時比か四時登

出御之節西湖之間御縁頬通にて
御目見相済御白書院溜之間ゟ松之
御廊下之御障子之方に並居
勅使 院使自分之御礼も相済退去

現代語訳
三月
一日
一、例年通りに出仕する。例年、オランダ人の御礼がある。
服装は特別なことはなく、月次の礼の時と同様である。
出御の際は御黒書院の御縁頬を通って
御目見えを済ませ、大広間の松之間へ回って御張付の
方一面に並んで控える。オランダ人の御礼が済んだら
退出する。老中の御挨拶はない。
三日
一、上巳の節句につき、熨斗目と長袴を着用して五時前に登
城し、いつもの席で見合わせをする。
御目見えの席は帝鑑之間で御礼を申し上げ、
終わったら大広間の板縁に並んで控える。
入御の後、老中の御挨拶があってから退出する。
一、退出の後は西丸へも出仕すること。
当月中、公家衆との御対顔、
御返答、御能の次第は左の通りである。
一、勅使・院使の御対顔がある際は大紋を
着用し、五時か五時半頃、または四時に登
城し、いつもの席で見合わせをする。
出御の際は西湖之間の御縁頬を通って
御目見えを済ませ、御白書院の溜之間から松之
御廊下の御障子の方に並んで控える。
勅使・院使自身の御礼も済んだら退去する。
この際、御白書院の御上壇に
御着座され、右の御礼が済んで入御の後、老中の
御挨拶があってから退去する。

March
1st day
One: Attend duties as usual. Every year, there is a ceremony for the Dutch.
Clothing is nothing special, same as for monthly ceremonies.
When the lord emerges, proceed through the veranda of the Black Shoin,
complete the audience, go around to the Pine Room of the Great Hall and line up
facing the posted notices area. After the Dutch ceremony is completed,
withdraw. There is no greeting from the senior councilors.
3rd day
One: For the Jōshi festival, wear noshi-me and long hakama, arrive at the castle before 5 o'clock,
and observe protocol at the usual seats.
The audience takes place in the Teikan Room where formal greetings are offered.
After completion, line up on the wooden veranda of the Great Hall.
After the lord's entrance, there are greetings from the senior councilors, then withdraw.
One: After withdrawal, also attend duties at the Western Castle.
During this month, audiences with court nobles,
responses, and Noh performances proceed as follows:
One: When there are audiences with imperial messengers or temple messengers, wear formal crested robes,
arrive at the castle around 5:00 or 5:30, or at 4:00,
and observe protocol at the usual seats.
When the lord emerges, proceed through the veranda of the Seiko Room,
complete the audience, then line up from the waiting room of the White Shoin toward
the sliding doors of the Pine Corridor.
After the imperial/temple messengers complete their own ceremonies, withdraw.
At this time, the lord takes his seat on the upper platform of the White Shoin.
After the aforementioned ceremonies are completed and the lord enters, there are greetings
from the senior councilors, then withdraw.
