### 六月十二日、別紙の通り仰せ出された旨、磯野多宮より申し聞かされたので、以下に記す。
- 一、御出生（様）の儀については、以後、御誕生の御男子（様）は「御姫（様）」と書き認めること。
- 一、当日より以前のことは「昨何日」「一昨何日」と書き認め、さらにそれ以前の日については「去る何日」と書き認めること。
- 一、当日のことは「今何日」、それ以外は「明何日」「明後何日」と書き認め、それ以降については「来る何日」と書き認めること。
- 一、この外、四季に相当ることについては「当春」「当夏」「当秋」「当冬」と書き認めること。

### 六月十八日、磯野多宮より申し聞かされた内容：
飛脚の節、紙（■：判読不能）共々重くなりすぎないようにすること。もちろん、一通りの文通は決してしてはならない旨、以前より申し達していたところ、次第に緩んで乱れた状態になってきたため、改めて触れ知らせる旨、別紙書付をもって申し上げたので、以下に記す。
#### 覚
- 一、飛脚の節、諸向への御用状といえども、十分に重くなりすぎないようにすること。
- 一、御役人共へ、手筋（縁故・つて）を通じて頼み込む書状については、以前より度々達してきた通り、取り次ぎは決してしてはならないこと。

*Proviso:* Should the *go-chūrō* have other duties, the *o-shoin-bangashira* (Captain of the Shoin Guard) shall perform the duty; should the *o-shoin-bangashira* also have duties, the *Goyōnin* (Senior Steward) shall perform it.

- **Item —** Personnel to proceed to the temple on occasions when the *go-chūrō* performs proxy worship:

### 4th Day of the 11th Month — A written notice was delivered by Watanabe Jūrozaemon, the contents of which are as follows:
#### Memorandum (*Oboegaki*)
Concerning the 2nd day of the 11th month (the occasion of the *o-yashiromawari* — the lord's inspection round of the residence):
From the day preceding said round until past noon on the day itself, consumption of fish and seafood (*gyorui*) shall be abstained from.

## An'ei 9th Year (1780), Year of the Rat
### 12th Day of the 6th Month — The following was conveyed by Isono Tamiya, stating that the below had been decreed by separate written notice; recorded here accordingly.
- **Item —** Regarding newborn children (*go-shussei-sama*): henceforth, a newborn male child (*go-danshi-sama*) shall be written and recorded as "*o-hime-sama*" (princess/female-form honorific).
- **Item —** Regarding days prior to the present day: the day before yesterday shall be written as "*kino nannichi*" (yesterday, such-and-such day) and the day before that as "*ototoi nannichi*" (the day before yesterday, such-and-such day); days further back shall be written as "*saru nannichi*" (the such-and-such day past).
- **Item —** Regarding the current day, it shall be written as "*ima nannichi*" (today, such-and-such day); for subsequent days, "*asu nannichi*" (tomorrow) and "*asatte nannichi*" (the day after tomorrow); and for days further ahead, "*kitaru nannichi*" (the coming such-and-such day).
- **Item —** For matters corresponding to the four seasons, they shall be written as "*tō-haru*" (this spring), "*tō-natsu*" (this summer), "*tō-aki*" (this autumn), and "*tō-fuyu*" (this winter).

### 18th Day of the 6th Month — Conveyance by Isono Tamiya:
It was stated that regarding the dispatch of couriers (*hikyaku*), it had previously been communicated on multiple occasions that parcels and correspondence combined must not become excessively heavy, and furthermore that ordinary personal correspondence must absolutely not be sent through official courier channels. However, as compliance had been growing lax and disorderly, a fresh notice was hereby issued. This was conveyed by means of a separately attached written notice, recorded here as follows:
#### Memorandum (*Oboegaki*)
- **Item —** On occasions of courier dispatch, even official communications (*goyōjō*) for all parties and offices must be kept sufficiently light in weight and must not become excessively heavy.
- **Item —** Regarding letters sent to domain officials by means of personal connections and intermediaries (*tesуji*): as has been communicated repeatedly on previous occasions, the forwarding and relaying of such letters must absolutely not be permitted.
