五月九日、磯野多宮より別紙の通り仰せ出された旨、申し聞かされた。

十月九日、磯野多宮より申し聞かされたことには：別紙御書付の通り、以後、江戸・国元ともに御送り書（通達文書）および御用状においても、御書付の趣旨をもって記すよう仰せ出された旨、申し聞かされた。これにより、御徒目付・組物書（書記役）へも右御書付の写しを作成し、今後間違いのないよう申し付けた。なお、江戸表へも御書付を送り、この趣旨を申し越すよう仰せ出されたので、同十七日の御飛脚にて申し遣わした。御書付は左の通り：
- 御出の儀 → 「御出殿」と記すこと
- 御帰りの儀 → 「御帰殿」と記すこと
- 何方へ御出になったという儀 → 「何方へ被為入」と記すこと
- 御立寄場所の儀 → 「御膳所 何方へ被為入」と記すこと
右の通り、心得・記し方等については去る子年（天明元年・1780年以前）にも仰せ出されたところ、行き届かなかったため、再度仰せ出された。今後間違いがあった場合には、きっと（厳しく）仰せ出されることとなる。御目付共へ書付を渡すべき事。

十一月二十四日、牧野主膳より別紙の通り申し聞かされたので、江戸表へも（同内容を）送り届けた。
- 御茶弁当（の供をする）御徒が一人随行しているが、諸家いずれも同様の（御徒随行の）例はなく、坊主（茶坊主）はぜひとも附けるべきことであるので、今後は江戸・国元ともに御茶方の御坊主のみを添えるものとし、御徒の随行は取りやめるよう仰せ出された。なお江戸表へは、来る正月元日に若殿様が御登城の節より取り計らうよう申し遣わした。国元については、近日中の御出殿の節よりとりやめるよう仰せ出された。以上。

Regarding those who are in mourning at the time of a purification ceremony (o-kiyome): henceforth, they shall be replaced beginning from the seventh hour (approximately 4:00 PM) of the preceding day.

On the 9th day of the 10th month, Isono Tamiya communicated the following: In accordance with the attached written notice, henceforth all dispatch documents (o-okuri-gaki) and official communications (o-yōjō) sent between Edo and the home domain shall be written using the wording prescribed in the attached notice. Accordingly, copies of this notice have been prepared and distributed to the foot inspectors (o-kachi-metsuke) and the records clerks (kumi-monokaki), with instructions to ensure no errors are made going forward. Furthermore, it has been decreed that the notice be sent to Edo as well, with the relevant instructions. This was accordingly dispatched via express messenger on the 17th of the same month. The contents of the notice are as follows:
- When the lord departs → write: "御出殿" (*Go-shūden*, "His Lordship departs")
- When the lord returns → write: "御帰殿" (*Go-kiden*, "His Lordship returns")
- When referring to where the lord has gone → write: "何方へ被為入" (*izukata e nasare-iri*, "His Lordship has proceeded to [location]")
- When referring to a stopover location → write: "御膳所 何方へ被為入" (*go-zensho, izukata e nasare-iri*, "His Lordship's dining place: proceeded to [location]")
The above rules regarding proper wording and recording had already been decreed in the previous Year of the Rat (prior to Tenmei 1st year / around 1780), but as compliance was found to be insufficient, they are hereby reiterated. Should errors occur henceforth, strict measures will be taken. A written notice shall be duly passed on to the inspectors (o-metsuke).

On the 8th day of the 5th month, Hashiba Oribu communicated the following: As has been decreed per the attached document, the following shall be understood accordingly:
- The term "御居間" (*o-ima*, "the lord's living room/private room") → shall henceforth be referred to as "御座之間" (*o-za-no-ma*, "the lord's presence chamber")
- The term "御寝間" (*o-nema*, "the lord's bedchamber") → shall henceforth be referred to as "御休息" (*o-kyūsoku*, "the lord's resting room")

On the 24th day of the 11th month, Makino Shuzen communicated the following per an attached document, and the same was also dispatched to Edo:
- Although one foot guard (o-kachi) has been accompanying the lord's tea and lunch service (o-cha-bentō), no other domain follows a similar practice; a tea-ceremony monk (bōzu / chabōzu) must invariably be assigned. Therefore, henceforth both in Edo and in the home domain, only the tea-ceremony monk of the tea service (o-chamata o-bōzu) shall be attached, and the accompanying foot guard shall be discontinued. The Edo establishment has been instructed to begin implementing this from the New Year's Day attendance at the castle by the Young Lord (Wakatono-sama). As for the home domain, it has been decreed that the change shall take effect from the next forthcoming departure of His Lordship (go-shūden). The above is hereby noted.
