年始の御祝儀について、御年限中は半減して差し上げること。

**寛政六年（1794年）寅年**
○これまで、毛屋の繰り舟（渡し舟）を御渡船が使われる節は渡し舟を差し留めていたが、以後は御渡船がある場合でも、前後（前後の時間帯）は船留めにするには及ばず、渡し舟を運行させて往来させるよう仰せ出されたので、それぞれ（関係者が）取り扱うべき旨。

右の通り、松平要人より申し聞かされたので、毛屋の侍中へ口上書をもって触れ知らせた。

1. On the 3rd day of the 3rd month, the following was communicated by the Go-yōnin (senior household official), and was accordingly passed on to Kasuya Seibei (Go-kachi-metsuke, inspector of foot soldiers) and also to the Go-kaji (domain smiths/metalworkers):
Regarding the New Year's congratulatory gifts (nenshigo-shūgi): during the prescribed period (go-nengen), these are to be reduced by half.

**Kansei 6th Year (1794), Year of the Tiger**
○ Until now, whenever the lord's official ferry boat (o-watashi-bune) crossed at Keya, all other ferry boats (kuri-bune, pulley-operated ferries) were stopped as a precaution. However, henceforth, even when the lord's official ferry boat is in use, it is not necessary to halt ferry services before and after its passage; ferry boats are to be allowed to continue running and people may cross as usual. This has been proclaimed, and all relevant parties are to handle matters accordingly.
6th day of the 10th month
The above having been communicated by Matsudaira Kaname, this was announced to the samurai retainers (侍中, samurai-chū) of Keya by means of an oral notice (kōjō-sho).
