一、文化六巳年（1809年）
一、九月十四日、多賀谷権助より申し聞かせたことには、松平左近衛督様のことを「修理大夫様」と御改名になった。これ以後は御両敬のお取り扱いとなる。この段につき御役人へも心得として申し達すべき旨、申し聞かされたので、それぞれに申し通した。

一、右と同日、松平要人より申し聞かせたことには、隆徳院様の御逝去につき、御遺物として御役人の面々へ轡（くつわ）を一口ずつ内々にお下し置かれた旨。右の御礼の義については、江戸表の御中老まで書状をもって申し上ぐべき旨、申し聞かされた。

Item: Bunka 6th year, Year of the Snake (1809)
Item: On the 14th day of the 9th month, Tagaya Gonnosuke communicated the following: His Lordship Matsudaira Sakonoe-no-kami has changed his title to "Shuri-no-daibu." Henceforth, the honorific dual-respect protocol (ryōkei) is to be applied in addressing him. This matter is to be communicated to all officials so that they are duly informed, and accordingly, notice was given to each party.

Item: On the same day, Matsudaira Yōnin communicated the following: Upon the passing of Lady Ryūtokuin, a horse bit (kutsuwa) was discreetly bestowed upon each of the officials as a personal bequest (imotsu). Regarding the expression of gratitude for this gift, it was communicated that a letter of thanks should be submitted to the Senior Councillor (chūrō) in Edo.

Item: On the 11th day of the 1st month, Amemori Genshirō communicated the following: As decreed per the attached separate document, all parties are to take note accordingly.
Item: His Lordship Saheiza-no-suke has changed his title to "Saheiza-no-kami."
Item: Regarding the internal honorary protocol (go-naibu) for His Lordship Kuki Izumi-no-kami, the dual-respect honorific (ryōkei) has been mutually agreed upon. For matters pertaining to the inner quarters (naka-mukai) and official public affairs (kōhen no tsuku), the previous one-sided protocol (kataage) continues as before; all other matters are to employ the full dual-respect protocol (ryōkei).

Item: On the 26th day of the 10th month, Nagami Taemon communicated the following: In accordance with the attached separate document, and with the intention of informing Kasuya Naiki and all persons of equivalent or higher standing under his jurisdiction, notice was also given to Naiki and the O-kachi-metsuke (inspectors of foot soldiers).
Item: On the occasion of the martial arts review (bugei o-ran), officials are to attend as much as possible without claiming exemption from duty (yōhiki). However, in cases of unavoidable official duties, one should consult with colleagues of the same post (dōyaku-chū), and arrangements for duty exemption are to be settled and established in advance.
